Dear All

I am New here and I am keen to explore on the new media
such as Facebook, digg, Youtube.

What does everyone view on this New Media? Will they
survive like the Internet Marketing model?

    Social Networking is here to stay. Over the past couple of years social networking has exploded.

    You have MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, and now Twitter. These are the big ones. There are new social networking sites opening nearly everyday.

    As far as social media marketing goes, I focus on Attraction Marketing, to attract my future business partners from these social networking sites.

    Rejection free network marketing at its best!

    Yea, social media isn't really new anymore! It's been a big thing for a few years now, and it's here to stay.

    The media outlets used may change, but the basis of everything will remain.

    It's what's hot right now, and YouTube and other vid sites have been great traffic sources for me so far.

      People like to belong to something. Thats why forums are so popular. Social media took that to a new level and will be here to stay even with alterations and changes over the years.

    Dear All

    I am trying to insert a video from Youtube into my new blog,
    but just simple can't do it.

    I saw people write articles and the video from youtube
    just simply played on the screen.

    How could it be done?

      Copy the embed code from Youtube (Over on the top right of the youtube video page) and paste into your post BUT in the HTML writing section.

    Social Media marketing isn't so new anymore. MySpace had capitalized on social media first, then YouTube, now Twitter has (in my opinion) changed Social Media. It is turning into a much faster and up-to-date marketing medium than the earlier methods such as MySpace.

    Twitter is super powerful marketing tool if used right. I am currently addicted to Twitter, I wasn't much of a "myspacer" or "facebooker" but I am definitely a "twitterer" - because it gives you more access to more people with simpler and faster messages. I loves it.

    Wouldn't it go back to as far as e-mail marketing? Isn't that social? Communicating thousands of people at once, but I guess there is no social network involved there. Just a thought...

    I read in the local paper in Singapore that "Blogging traffic in Singapore slows while the usage of Twitter and Plurk explodes....I recently signed up an account at Plurk...still learning..but not sure of Twitter.

    Is it similar?

      I haven't tried Plurk yet, but I think it's similar to Twitter. All I know is that with Twitter the more followers you have the higher the traffic you will get from dropping in a link to blog or marketing offer.

      Did you mean people in Singapore blog less and tweet more? If so I think that will be a global trend as Twitter is technically, "micro-blogging" which is more fun to do (in my opinion)

        you talk about twitter marketing, it means that you put your website link for every message you sent to your followers? (is that spammy?)
