How to create valuable emails for gamers?
I have several free mobile games and in order to play email registration is required. In that way I am building my list.
OK, I agree that I have to send some valuable emails to list. But I can't figure what value can be for gamers? (ok I am offering other games for PC... but no sales made - so seems that is not value for them).
I have created finance tracker application for mobile for 2 EUR.
For my free games there are registered more than 10000 users. But for finance tracker only 300 emails.
Is it possible to somehow "educate" those 10000 gamers via emails that there exists another soft - expense tracker and that it is what they realy need ?
I believe in marketing rule: give to people what they want (free games) but deliver what they need as well (finance trancking soft).
Maybe it is waste of time and I need just to focuss on expense tracker application (and 300 email list) and not to build list with gamers ?
Here you can see first 4 emails which are sent after registration (1 per week):

2) Save money and get more games
3) Peace of mind at any time with your Nokia mobile
4) Get freedom from checks and bills
Should I need to build story from subjects and somehow slightly move from games to finance tracking?
Or maybe 1st email should be like that "Ok, my name is John Smith, and my mission is to help people to get more money by learning discipline and ... finally.. I wont offer to you new games - if you wish to improve your finance continue to recevie my emails if not then unsubscribe. So, what is your choice?" ?
Or maybe I need to focus on those 300 emails which actually paid 2 EUR for finance tracker? And forget about 10000 emails from free games and stop creating them?
I feel I am doing something wrong or my attitude is wrong. I will appreceate your advice.
