What gear to use for recording HD video?

I've been doing some research on different types of gear to record high definition 1080 video but I can't seem to make up my mind on what to get.

What do you use or would you use to record HD video for your products?

Thanks,
Zeekr

1080 is a bit of a luxury in terms of quality, 720p is what most people consider to be really good quality. I recommend the Kodak Playsport and a really good SD card that is able to save the 1080p images without lag, or if you are on a budget and want your videos to look really good then I recommend the Kodak Zi9 with a good lighting setup.

I'd like to have a cellphone that records wide-screen HD video... one day!

My iphone 4s takes great 1080p videos, the best thing I did for it was get a tripod for it.

If you are looking for a program to edit your videos you should check out final cut pro, that's if you have a Mac though.

    Thanks for the input!

I have a phone which records in 720p but the quality is not that good, especially if you move it while filming.

Has anyone tried a DSRL for this?

    Thanks,

Assuming you mean DSLR, yes I have used my friends, it works great also. She has a canon rebel. One thing though, check first on your phone to see if it has digital image stabilization support, that might solve your moving problem.
