Promoted to Fiverr Level 1 With Some High Paying Consulting Jobs

Hey guys,

I just started getting serious on fiverr.com and I got promoted to Level 1 today.

Surprisingly I had a lot of high paying clients locally and first I thought, what a $5 gig can be good for marketing guy who get hundreds of dollars a month for my work.

Well, seems like my gigs got me in to few more than $200 consulting jobs just by providing good quality. Its like getting in to untapped market for finding new clients who are in need.

Stuff that helped me -

1. Provided a quality service for dirt cheap price

2. Wrote nice gig with proper tags.

3. Got awesome reviews and feedback

4. Gigs were part of some overall bigger tasks, which 3 out of my first 10 orders asks me to handle myself later on.

5. and guess what?

I got $40 from fiverr for 10 Gigs and additional work worth more than $300+ total and more inquiries are already hitting inbox.

--

Excited for getting to next level, added few more gigs last night as well!

Wish me luck warriors!

Same with me. People loved the quality of work i provided on Fiverr that I suddenly started getting orders for $30-$40 for exactly the same thing, they wanted 1 x 500 word article, but only 'slightly' better than before. Which was great. Aiming for Level 2 now. Although I have a back list of 50 orders at the moment, many asking for 1500 word articles, so i had to close the gig for a bit sadly. Moving over to alternative ways soon.

Thanks buddy, Really I do have same feeling that, I have got that formula!

Planning to make some more gigs that will reduce my overall work time per gig and which are related to my current gig.

      Will keep this thread updated!

Thanks Guys, I am planning to make most out of this level 2 status in coming days. Most of the gigs I have are already at number one on related search results, So i do not think Level 2 will add any high number of customers all of a sudden.

But Yes, I am already seeing a spike in some of my less active gigs.

Lastly, I am hoping to create some gigs that are less time consuming for me, which can increase my returns!

    Good job!

I am a level 1 seller too. Most of my customers are repeated customers, they really liked my work and keep coming back for me!

Yup, Repeated customers are the real juice you get from fiverr community. Once they like you, they write awesome feedbacks and provoke others to buy your gigs!

Out of my repeated customers 30-50% hired me for long term work that paid me much more than the scope of fiverr.

Also some guys buy multiple gigs even up to 6-7 times to do higher volume of work.

Hey, I almost shared most of the tips already with the first post, And I am sticking to the same basics from the first day.

And to be very truthful about promotion, well, I am not promoting my gig anywhere at all.

No Ads, No Social Sharing, No Emails nothing.

I have seen people promoting their gigs on Facebook Ads and some by viral methods but I do not think it will be very profitable at all. (But yeah it might help you get the initial push)

I am a blogger and I own websites that have more than 3-4K pageviews a day, But I did not promoted the gig anywhere.

You can do perfectly well only from fiverr community, search & overall rating system itself.

Rather than taking efforts on promotion do the following -

      1. Try to find a topics you can do well and there is less competition.

      2. Get involved in small manual work, like writing, editing, solving issues, small services that tools can not do.

      3. Doing gigs should not take more than 10-15 minutes for you to finish. Otherwise you can not handle huge number of clients.

Do small hard work, Take small profits. Don't do too much work for less cost and don't fool or give less valued work to clients.

This will do all the tricks!

You should definitely make a new account and start fiverr gigs again. You should communicate with fiverr support team whenever you need help.

And trust me bad stuff happens, even if its not your fault. But giving up is worst than that.

Just to give you an example, 8 days ago Google Adsense stop serving ads on one of my blog & I lost $150/month revenue for a stupid reason. I am trying to communicate and get things back to work but even if they do not allow me again, I will start again.

Because internet business is a business after all and you can expect small & big issues coming to you for no reason.

Moral of the story - Start it back!

I have heard of fiverr. But correct me if I'm wrong, gigs are offered at $5 a piece. Is that fixed? Or does it start at $5 and you can increase it? Do you need to level up before you can increase your offers? I will be glad to be enlightened further. Thanks.

      Hey,

The gig prices are fixed in general But when you get the Level increase you can provide extras of $5 & $10 on Level 1 and higher on next levels up to $50!

But you can ask buyer for multiple gigs purchase in case you have are providing more valuable service.

Note: Fiverr takes $1 of your earning as well so you end making something 3.69 per gig after you get Paypal deposit!
