  I don't know about elegant theme, but you can build a squeeze page as well with profit theme.

  I use WP Easy Builder to do very similar stuff like OptimizePress. The best is it's not dependable on the WP theme you use, it's "just" a plugin...

Care to explain what exactly do you mean by "distorted"? Are you able to reverse this issue by changing your theme back to its original? It could be conflicting plugins or something

I personally use OP myself, not a problem so far but well, you need to explain more maybe some of the other OP users(alot of them) here might have a solution.

Somehow warrior forum didn't alert me up till now about new comments...

Well, I already asked for a refund mainly because the support team of OP didn't even care to read my issue before sending an answer, their e-mail clearly showed to me that they didn't care at all..

I looked at profit theme and will probably use it in the future - sound good.

I'm sorry your experience with OP has been an unpleasant one but I use (and love) it. I've just found it really easy to use and support has been great for me.

An alternative I saw recently is SqueezeTheme from Unique Blog Designs. These guys don't have an all-in-one solution like OP but it seems to be a decent modular approach.

Did you use OP on a brand new site? Or one that had a lot of posts/pages already?

I can't say I've installed it on a site with tons of content already- but when I've used it on brand new sites, it has always worked fine.

There's a reason why tons of marketers love OP, but good luck whatever you decide.

I installed it on a site with pages and content on it. Probably would have been easier on a brand new site.

It messed things up and it's quite difficult to find your way around the support videos. As I already mentioned the support I received was very poor that was the main reason for asking for a refund. I also don't have all the days to figure out how the whole system works. Very complicated.

I understand a lot of people love it and use it - that's fine. I'm looking for a simple solution and already received great ideas on this thread

Hopefully it was just a minor user error. That theme is too clean to have issues like that. At least I hope so as I was planning on buying it in the near future. Does suck though when you get no support. Its almost just as bad as having a defective product. I usually get my themes from themeforest they have an awesomecselection.

supposedly the support area was changed to a new format. It looks like poor communication when the change was made, but I hear the support is still decent. (only you needed to know where to go...cart before the horse)

  I was told in what seemed like a canned response:
  
  " At the moment we're aiming for a launch around October-November 2012, however this is not confirmed yet..."
  
  "...at this moment in time as above we can't confirm exactly when it will be ready for launch."
  
  Version 2 will not be a free upgrade if you bought the current version today.
