Your Windows Version Could Be a Huge Limitation If You're an Internet Marketer - Google Details

Being a software developer i see how lots of Vista / 7 users many times (not always) experience lots of problems to install different desktop apps from different publishers under those systems.

And if you're an internet marketers this could be a HUGE limitation as you may not be able to use some great apps due to lots of errors that those operating systems may raise.

Let me share something that could show the evolution of the windows systems...according to Google....

Windows XP: (320,000 results for "windows xp error")

Google

Windows Vista: (760,000 results for "windows vista error")

Google

Windows 7: (1,460,000 results for "windows 7 error")

Google

According to this, XP is the most stable version (at least with service pack 2), thing that i personally subscribe after testing the other crappy toys.

What it's true is that Windows is becoming worse update after update.

I am a computer science major and ran Windows Vista Ultimate 64 since it was released.

No issues I see everyone else complain about. Apparently Vista is just as horrible as ME, which I never had issues with that either.

Windows 7 however doesn't support a lot of old hardware, but supports much of the same apps as Vista.

Maybe we are butting heads here, but I think the "average" Windows user is always going to have problems with ANY version of Windows.

Is it possible that because Windows XP has been around longer that theres just more software that's compatible with it? I personally like Windows 7 a lot. Just because it's newer its likely too have more bugs in in. I bet XP had a lot more issues with it when it first came out, but many patches and 3 SPs later its doing pretty well.

I run Windows 7 and usually run things in compatibility mode or move into XP Mode if there is an issue. I've never had an issue where I just couldn't run something at all. I do think that XP is probably the best option for some of the less technical users, but I think it's more of an issue of what's between the chair and computer and not within the system itself .

      Hi Verice,

I'm sure you're running Mass Video Generator in compatibility mode (hope you're enjoying it)

And yes, many times things get solved as you say but others...errors start raising everywhere (have to say that found that 7 is 100% more stable than Vista - even though the "Google Results" don't show the same).

      Best Regards,

      Diego.

You will find that even though Microsoft doesn't support XP anymore, corporations and hospitals still use XP as their main operating system... since most end users think it's simple and easy to learn. And i would know... i used to be an IT Technician for a major company with 70 locations across America.
