My Secret Weapon for Cheap Outsourcing!

Hello fellow Warriors!

If your like most internet marketers you got into this business to make money, not spend it!

You got into this business to spend more time with your family, not spend hours writing articles and doing other boring task to promote your site.

So, how do we free ourselves up? We turn to outsourcing!
Well, there is only one problem...

Unless you've already got money coming in from your online business you will end up spending more on your outsourced task than your making online!

Sure you can get college students from the Philippines to write articles for $3 or $4 per hour...
If you don't mind having to rewrite them due to there lack of US Grammar!

Well... I have a solution for you!
It's the fastest growing outsourcing website online right now!

It's called fiverr.com

This website allows people to post jobs that they can do with an average price of $5!

Now I don't about you, but the last time I checked prices for US article writers the average price per article was $15!

You can outsource anything on this site, the sky is the limit!

Here is a short list of examples:
Create a Cool Intro Video
Get Your Press Release on Google News
Graphic Design
Video Distribution
Transcription
Create an Iphone App for your Website
and Much More...

So go out there and start outsourcing your tast at a much cheaper rate!

(aka Master Joeda)

P.S. If this post helped you please show me some love and share it!

Fiverr has its place, but it isn't the end all be all of outsourcing. Depending on your outsourcing needs, it can actually get more pricey than hiring a virtual assistant. There was a thread the other day which had a site that the owner must have spent a small fortune on fiverr gigs getting pretty girls to pose with his message or write it on their breasts or whatever. As it is a site related to teaching ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) it didn't seem like a good fit nor the best use of the cash spent.
I'm not bashing fiverr, I'm just pointing out that as with all things the latin phrase caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware) applies. In some cases "You get what you pay for" also applies. Still, I'm glad the site works well for you and fits your outsourcing needs well. Thanks.

      That's classic fiverr.

I think in a lot of ways fiverr is like a dollar store (fiver store?) Some things in the store are a great deal and of perfect quality for what you need (some of the content writing, x-rumer blasts, light graphic work, etc), other things you're better off just not buying because it won't be of a good quality (most of the senuke blasts, most of the content, etc) and some of it will actually hurt you like expired food from a discount store of ill repute (lots of the backlink packages, poorly written content, etc).

Fiverr is always a great deal if you want customized naughtiness like the above. Where else can you get a girl talking into a camera from the shower with no nudity saying whatever you want for just $5!?!

Fiverr has its place but be careful as it can be incredibly distracting. I used it for a while but eventually worked out that the time I was spending going through the gigs and weeding out the best workers was just not worth it.

My intention was to find the best workers and then keep feeding them with gigs, but other people were doing the same and they became overloaded with work.

Fiverr is definitely good for thinking outside the box type ideas and getting others to carry out those tasks for you. Like for example somebody walking around time square for an hour with a billboard that has your URL on it etc. etc...but other things I wouldn't count on it too much such as content and backlinks...just my 2 cents on the 5 bucks

Fiverr is good if you can find the diamonds in the rough. But sometimes that can be hard, so expect what you pay for...

But there are some people that deliver abosolutely awesome work on there.

I don't find Fiverr to be a very professional place to outsource when you're serious about business. But there are some hidden gems on there for sure. I go for the more fun gigs rather than using any listed writing and IM services, as most of them seem to not be too great..

I'm inclined to disagree with you slightly. I think if you're serious about business there are some things on there that you're better off using them than finding another solution.

I got this video on fiverr that I think it's absolutely great, for $5 a bargain, and I never would have otherwise picked it up.
I also have some MFA sites that I don't put a lot of effort into, but want to see what kind of potential they have so I have folks on their write content. I'll skip posting the link, but I have a site that's doing pretty well off an article I paid a guy $5 to write for the main page and then used wp-robot to auto-blog the rest. I've already made my money back and then some. Now I know that out of my list of MFA sites I have an idea of which ones I should focus more love on and which ones aren't as promising. It's a fun little hobby

This thread is a good reminder to those who have been on the WF for a longer period of time that things we take for granted are new to folks who are new.
It's the same reason there are what could be termed "evergreen" threads. (Threads that basically ask the same questions that have previously been asked such as "What's the best way to make money online?")
I would hope the more "seasoned" warriors would try to keep a positive spin. Negativity can be so off-putting especially for someone who is new here.
    </mini rant> :-)

Fiverr is good for short term tasks but if you need a long term employee it's better to hire a full time VA. Not only that it is more cost effective but you can be sure that a VA's skills will be use specifically to improve your business and not other client's.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[5869971].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author celente
I shouldnt tell you but we hire VA from Fiverr all the time, and actually offered one of those fiverr workers part time job, cause they were so good. So fiverr is pretty good to test the waters for just a small $5 buckeroos.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[5870015].message }}
  • Fiverr is not for everyone. You really have no way of knowing how well the quality of the work will be and you and the risk of losing money. Understandably US writers do charge a bit more for their work, but at least you know that your getting native eneglish writing that is not going to turn the readers off. You pay for quality and it is an investment. In the long run, you will be glad you didnt resort to using cheap labor.

In my opinion Fiverr is good for some things, and not so good for other things. You kinda learn the hard way by buying services that is good or bad. I have found some great services on there, and will be using them over and over.

For most of us Fiverr is not secret. I have used it on occasion, and will continue to do so. The major work in using Fiverr is the tracking of jobs. Some are done well, others not. You really need to find the best workers and avoid those who do not deliver.

I'm sorry but this was hilarious ... aside from fiver being used to get girls naked! it's a bit like pot luck ... but u can get into colleges on notice boards and so on where you would not normally be able to reach! great right?

Meh, I use fiverr alot but rarely for anything "serious" If I want a graphic thrown together or something like that I find it great but not for day-t-day running of a business.

For that I think you can't beat having a full time employee (outsourced of course) At least you can train them to do a specific job and spend your times on more important task. One of the best things I ever heard was that if you own your own business your goal should be to "work On your business but not IN it"

Indeed, Fiverr is really the cheapest source of outsourcing. But as you know, different people have different writing style & if you give your writing works to fiverrers, then you won't get a stable writing style. This may harm your readers experience..
It's better to go for a hired freelance writer to avoid these writing style variation.
