Will my blog make money??

Hi everyone

I have been trying to make an income online for the last eight years,my goals this year are to get out of debt,make an extra income and take the kids to Florida.

Will I succeed? I hope so I am trying to make it work so lets see what happens.The title of my blog reflects what I am trying to do and that is to get out of debt, and I am looking to get fellow newbies just to watch me and see if I can do it.

Well after doing a lot of reading on here and other forums it seems that the first step to an online income is to create a blog. It took me about 2 weeks to create just doing bits and pieces here and there and here it is in my signature.I am learning and not sure what do to next I have not really tried to get traffic to it yet as I really have not got a hot product to promote.

Calling experienced Warriors,will I eventually make money from this style of blog or shall I do a whole new design?

I am very enthusiastic but am worried I am wasting my time,for a newbie like me is there another route I should be folllowing or am I on the right track?

Moderators I am not trying to sell anything to anyone on here it is my own blog in my signature just wanting ideas.

    You need to optimize your site properly. First, you must define your goals, and from there build contents, and links that will drive traffic to your site.

    Hi, also someone with similar goals to yourself and a web presence that goes back a while with no success to date.
    My Blog that was put online in December 08 is now seeing a few hundred visitors each week now and I have worked very hard building up links by finding high ranking blogs in the same field of operation and leaving good meaningful and useful comments to posts there.

    Your blog needs to be 'evergreen; with regular posts there. You also need to submit 'ping' your posts too - try ping o matic for this.

    As to the question will it make you money well, how long is the piece of string. Ir will provide you with a platform to build a list from and if kept active with good content and gathering followers you have a god chance of getting success.

    Don't expect it to be instantaneous of course, building a business takes time. Concentrate on business planning in the first instance, document shat you have done and eventually things will start to happen.

    Like you too am impatient but have realised I have to be content to bide my time and concentrate on the setting up phase and building traffic first.

    Get a ton of traffic and monetize it. The more people see the ads on your site, the more you are most likely to make.

    How you make money with it is the question, but as I always say forget making money.. Focus on building a business and helping people

    I just did a min. long glance at your site. A good start.

    I feel that you need a CORE THEME once people are there. Certainly, the domain names tells a lot about WHAT *YOU* ARE UP TO.

    BUT, how does that benefit me? How does it benefit me to read about what you are doing? What you are solving?

    I think you need to focus on the *benefit* to the reader from your site.

      Well I was just trying to appeal to the newbie that has not made any money online like me.
      I wanted for them to follow me and watch me make my first online income, then they would find inspiration from me and buy the products that I have used on the way to making that income.I would also love to help people,if I made even £100 I would love to share how I did it to fellow struggling online money making newbies.
      I wanted to prove that anyone can make money online,if I can then they could to.

      I dont know maybe I should leave that blog alone for a bit.I am a test subject for a guy called Luke Judge I am hoping that will go well for me.

    Have a look at my blog, I'm based in the UK and it's doing very well.

    You really need to create some products that you can promote / advertise on your blog.

    Try to make the posts informative so that people return to check for up dates, start to respect your advice ... and hopefully buy your products.
