I heard a lot about BMR in internet marketting, and heard that it is the best way of SEO at the present time. I know you have to submit 150 word articles with links to the bmr network and it will create good backlinks for your site. I also know that the articles need to be unique and must have correct English. Is that all or does it need any other requirements, Is the articles for human readers or search bots? I see about bmr everywhere but I still can't completely understand it.

    BMR=" Build My Rank"

you can learn about it if you type it in google.

You must be a newbie in Internet Marketing, not knowing about BMR.

Respectfully he's been here for 4 years.

Looking at the thread title, you must be a newbie too because asking "What is BMR articles" implies you're not sure either.

As Sal has just pointed out, you can do all you like to try and game the SERPS but if I get to your article and it reads like something that's meant to impress Googles little spiders, I'll go onto the next one.

I also think you really need to look at this.

The question for me is how effective BMR will continue to be in the current environment of google giving less weight to article networks

If you are going to put your name or link on an article - doesn't it make sense to make sure that article is going to make a human want to click to your website? Doesn't it make sense that if someone live does see it that you don't want to look like an idiot?

Doesn't matter what the SE thinks if people that see it think you are a moron.

Always aim your material for live readers. Also -- google "panda". I'm surprised that anyone in online businesses still have not heard of panda.

BMR is not or can't be essentially call a blog network, but looking at the business model it is clear that they must own or run some kind of a blog network. This is because except they do have blogs in all the various niches that their clients would like to post these 250 words articles, they won't be able to post them any where, with guarantee anyway that they will stick for life.

So either BMR has a network of blogs that they personally own and mange, or they do get blogs to host these posts through some other networks who buy or rent spaces on various blogs. since they personally don't accept publishers. You have many of such networks out there.

Also I believe that build BMR should be a great way to get your newly created website easily indexed by all the major search engines without lots of stress and with assurance that it will be. I say this because some of the websites that rent blog spaces or pages for their private posts usually require that the said blogs has at least a page rank 2 or 3 and with a domain name of at least six months old and the page must be linked from at least two other pages on the website. All these guarantees that your links posted in the 250 will be indexed.

Now this is only my opinion and it is based on the fact that if I was to run such a business, that is exactly how it will operate, and on the fact that I have sold spaces on numerous of my own blogs.

To say whether this is the best way to do SEO honestly I don't know. But I do know that it works.

    Hope that helps

Build My Rank is a paid link building service where in you need to submit quality blog posts and you can hyperlink your keywords in it. BMR administrators review your post for quality check-up and relevancy and then post it on one of their blog network. However after Google's panda update BMR's effect has reduced a lot I think because I am a BMR user myself since last one year and the kind of result I used to see earlier is no more now. I think this is because the sites BMR publishes the posts are link farming sites, but yeah it is still effective somewhere.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but BMR is finished! Google pretty much wiped them out.

Well this is news. Funny thing is I have just seen a positive review about BMR recently, probably not all of the people realize that BMR is no longer of any use.

From the first moment I heard about BMR, it intrigued me why Google is letting these deceptive SEO practices to be carried out. Especially when they say at that time that it was very effective. This will result in bias in the search engine results and loss of effectiveness of the search engine. To tell the truth I am more at ease now knowing that it is no longer valid.

Best way to get the most out of your articles on your site is to have well written content. In a way be spending more time on your articles to begin with and making sure that they are packed with info you will get them syndicated by authorities in your niche and that helps build backlinks anyway.

My opinion but you might have some success with these link programs and software but FAR more by making the effort and getting some quality content on your site.

You also don't have to worry that much about being kicked off Google this way.

  • Many people who are starting out in IM will still be curious about BMR because it just died. Hopefully they know that they are going to need some other method of getting traffic to their sites. My question is whats next to go as a result of Google's Panda?

I'm not a newbie, and I haven't heard of BMR either,
which seems a moot point now anyway. Just learned about
something which, it seems is no longer relevant, lol.

Yep, BMR is dead. There are a few posts on here about it. There are some posts where people have lost all of their links thanks for google's de-indexing of the sites.

High PR Society recently got hit too. Same principle as BMR.

A bunch of networks were hit, not just BMR and HPS. Probably more to come in the near future.
