Default Frustrating experience!

Hey everyone,

I've been coming to read at the Warrior Forum for quite a long time now. I tend to lurk and not talk as much. Here's where the problem comes in...

I buy WSO's time to time...and sometimes they want to see a transaction ID

I can't comment on a WSO because I don't have 30 posts..I have 6

I can't send an email to the person, because I don't have 20 posts....I have 6

I can't send a PM to the person, because I don't have 15 posts...I have 6

So here I have to write say...at least 10+ more posts just so I can communicate with the person of the WSO.

I emailed the email that the paypal address goes to, but it ended up being a "no reply" and kicked back to me.

What's a girl to do? Talk more, just to make a post count? I'm not looking to stir something up, I'm just frustrated that I can spend my money, but not communicate with the people I'm trying to buy from! ...and yes, I sent a message to "help" to find out how to contact someone otherwise

Kindly, Deb

James,

If you happen to come across this thread, I've purchased your articles, and I have no way of contacting you, except this way...it wasn't an automatic download, so I hope you can email me the link- so I can get my articles. If you need my purchase ID please PM me for details

I apologize for bumping this again, but I'm only at 9 posts, bought a WSO and still don't have access to it! Usually when I purchase them, they are immediate downloads. In this case, it was not...I am to be emailed, because there was a very limited supply.

I've not been emailed, and I have no way to contact this person to let them know. Hopefully, they'll be able to contact me via my paypal information.

If anybody has a suggestion, I'd be open to it.

...and yet, I'm still 6 more posts away from being able to msg the person. It seems odd, to have to write a post, just to up your numbers...I guess over the last 2 1/2 years, I should have jumped in more and spoken more often. It's just that when you follow multiple boards, to comment in all of them would be quite time consuming

Again, sorry I have to go about raising my count like this...and later, I'll try to raise my count in a different manner, but I'm doing this on an off, in between working on multiple websites.

Hi 4deb,

I'm having the same problem -- not enough posts to communicate with the author of the product (eventhough I haven't purchased YET, but want to!). So thanks for posting this thread!

Glad you got the response you were looking for. Good to see that folks actually respond and read the forum here and don't just post WSO and go into hiding! LOL! I didn't think that they did, just good to know that they actually don't!

Cheers,

JMB

Well don't just post meaningless things but browse through threads and offer your input or advice on questions people have. That's how I'm up to above 50 posts. I had 0 posts just a couple days ago. Plus I enjoy helping people out who need feedback. Don't forget you can build web presence by posting on these forums. Add a link to your sig and get noticed.

Hi Deb,

While building your posts up, (like me as I changed my UID again), ask someone who has enough posts to do the PM'ing for you.

Regards,

"offer your input or advice on questions people have"

I appreciate this..i have thousands of posts all over the web! on some boards, hundreds of posts, while just a few on others...I just don't have time to post on all the boards. I guess I chose the wrong boards to post on...LOL

great tip Helene...I'm going to focus on getting more involved here. When I first started in this online marketing, blogging and such world a few years ago...i was a little shy about offering information, since I was a new learner. I guess I have more input these days, since time has passed

Cheers, Deb

Deb,

The Warrior Forums and Digital Point forums are the best forums to be involved with IMO. Not only can you get tons of information and help others, but you WILL increase your web presence by doing so. If you have services, post a link to your site or offer in your signature and answer any questions people have regarding that particular subject/service.

Instant authority.

Edit: Also these forums are 'dofollow' so when Google indexes them, your have backlinks with every post you make.

4deb - I know how you feel! I hate posting just to post, yet I don't feel I have a whole lot to say. There are people out their with so much knowledge - I still feel like a total newbie.

Hi Timbor,

UNLESS you are actually contributing and offering something of VALUE to folks here on this board (or any other board in fact), then just posting to get your post count up isn't a good strategy in my eyes and I'm sure in the eyes of everyone else as they can and will do a history search on you to see what kind of value you provide rather than you just randomly replying to get your post count up.

Just look'n out for you and trying to help keep your "future reputation" in tact! Remember, in life, it's NOT about QUANTITY, rather, IT'S about QUALITY that counts!

Cheers,

JMB

Just browse around and look out for new threads. Offer your input to people who are asking general questions that senior WF members might just disregard.

JMB I totally know what you're saying. I'm not about just posting to post. I want to contribute when I post... just picked other places to do it in the past!

If you've been reading this stuff awhile then you have some answers to some the questions being asked. Some people aren't on all the time to answer the "big" questions. But as for some the little questions, I'm sure you have great input on those. It doesn't take long to get you post on cruise control if you just make an effort.

This is something all the newbies to the boards go through, but everyone knows something that can help someone, I've found. Browse through and you'll see questions that you can contribute too - or maybe a conversation that you would like to ask a follow up question on. No need to post just for the sake of it, and you'll soon clock up the posts!

I know what you mean. Like you (now) I have 14 posts but unlike you I do talk a lot (I've only been a member since Friday which is when someone told me about the forum).

There is such a lot to take in and I'm looking forward to finding my way around.

With luck this will be my 15th post and I'll be able to do some of the things I can't yet.

All the best

Good for you!

New members with a WSO problem can post the WSO sellers forum name in the main section - and one of us will PM the seller for you. I've done it several times and it worked fine.

It's not the transaction number he needs (he gets a different one) - it's the paypal address you used. Just have a working email address in your profile and seller can reach you. Do NOT post your email here to avoid spam.

Kay, they will get you one way or another --- like PMing you. I was PMd by some offering some rubbish and I didn't know who they were, let alone give them permission to send me their unsolicited CRAP!

Cheers,

Ok, hopefully my last post. Sorry if I have upset anyone by these posts but I figured it was a perfect thread to gain the much needed 3 more posts. Deb seems to be experiencing the same problems as me. I got a tweet from a member here at WF and need to contact him. However, I was unable to contact him through twitter because he is not following me back. So, hopefully now I will be able to PM him. Thanks guys. sweebit
