How to respond to this visitor email & does it have merit?

Hey all,

Now this email actually isn't upsetting me...in fact it's the exact opposite. Everything is picking up and that includes complaints, services issues etc so it's totally expected.

BUT this was from a visitor and I found it quite entertaining. Keep I do talk poorly about just about all of my competitors...because just about all of them are fake and scammers. There are a few good ones and I even mention that in my copy. I do use a bit of a fear tactic in my copy and that's for good reason...because if they do go with 99% of the other providers out there they'll get scammed. But I've never resorted to using foul language and never directly shoot anyone down.

I'm going to respond nicely I think and thank her for her input. Then the question comes in.....does her email have any actual value? Should there be any positive criticism that I should be taking away from it? She's the only one to say this by the way so...so far...

Anyway...here's the email....let me know what yall think!

"Hello,

I was seriously considering buying your guide, but decided against it for
one reason. I (and I am sure others) do not like the fact that you keep
putting down other businesses and their web sites. You are no different from
them. Think about it, you want to make money off your list just like they
are. The only difference is that you chose a different route that they did.
It shows an unprofessional and desperate quality. Don't tell me how bad some
one else's product is, tell me why I need to buy your product. Just
constructive criticism, take it if you want. However, I would bet that you
would increase your sales by telling people what your list is going to do
for them, not why other sites are so bad!

Thanks"
