Where do i start? How do i begin?

First of all i am new on this forum so please do go easy on me.

I will start by telling you a bit about myself, I currently work in London in Market Research where we do marketing on all different types of products from food & Drink - Pet fook - Beauty etc.

Anyway i am only 19 and i feel i do have a decent job for my age, Especially these days as its so hard to find a job.

Moving on, I am a lifetime football (soccer fan) and im a big supporters of West Ham United.. I have been collecting autographs all my life from the players and recently i started to sell some on ebay.

I then decided to setup my own basic website which is nothing special but i like it.

Anyway doing this does not make much money if im honest, But can someone help me in ways i can start making some money, I am a hard worker and willing to earn i just have no idea where to start or begin!

Thanks for reading and i hope to speak to you all.

    Hi there,
Congrats to you to be thinking long term about your career. What do you want to sell? Do you have an actual physical product you want to market online? Do you have any further details you can provide as to what you'd like to do?

Affiliate marketing has a low barrier to entry. Start a review site about products that you are familiar with.

    Chigwell:

The sky is the limit for things that you can do online to make money! You can start your own eBay or Amazon store, you can learn to do copywriting (there's a great forum here on the WF to learn from to do that), you can learn to write articles for others (it's a pain, but the money's good once your reputation is built)...you can even learn to do IM as well. There are a million strategies out there, so don't let yourself do what 99.99% of us did and get stuck in reading and never take action. Just find something that you like and that sounds interesting and doable and then go do it!

As in, people who can type in English without grammar and spelling mistakes?

I was born and raised in the USA and still live here now and I have made plenty of money online. These strategies work everywhere...but since the majority of the "Internet world" is comprised of English-speaking people, it does give us a leg up on the competition.

      Welcome to the forum mate.

Being a similar age myself, I can relate with what your going through .

Id recommend visiting some websites, and gathering some information together about what route you wish to take.

What I do is focus on Affiliate Marketing & List Building. Building a relationship by giving out free gifts to my list, and asking them what they want to know. Then I will make a product for them explaining that.

There are so many different ways to make money online (PPC, Facebook, SEO, CPA etc etc etc) , but be sure to see this as a business and not a get rich quick scheme, and you'll go far.

Good luck bro, and if you need any help just drop me a PM.

      Josh

You seem to have a passion for a niche (Football), try writing about that passion, monetize that content, build a list, monetize that list.

a football website..... I don't know if west ham have a affiliate program but if they do, you could start forwarding people willing to buy tickets and other merchandise , then earn some commission from it!

I agree with Josh Richardson, if you think you going to wake up and be rich, then think again, but if you see it as a business then it could turn into something big in time.

The main reason why people fail at affiliate marketing is because its a long process.

Getting T-Shirts signed and selling them online can only go so far. You could end up spending a lot of time for not a lot of money. Its not a scalable, business model. Basically you will only get payed when your out getting signatures.

    But...

If you are making some money, you could create your own information product on how to make extra money selling autographed T-Shirts (or whatever) on ebay or on a website. You could build a site showing pictures of you with athletes and have relevant content for your visitors. Start a mailing list, offer something free to get them to sign up. Use the site and the mailing list to sell your main product - This could be an eBook or a Video series or even a Membership site.

Having unique information to sell is very scalable. People are always looking for new ways to make some extra money. If you can make money selling things that are autographed, chances are you can teach someone else how to do it as well. If your information is good, and you create value for the customer, you will make money. Probably a lot more money than you could just selling autographs.

Well the cool thing is that you KNOW your interest.

Even though the autographs are not making you a HUGE amount of money there are plenty of football teams.

Also you know how to get autographs.

The first thing I would do online to make money is to stick with your passion and get a site ranked on search terms for the West Ham players and build from there.

Or sticking with football see if you can get some other merchandise to sell or even dropship.

It is far easier to start with niches that you know and have a passion for.

I would come in here join the war room and keep reading and implementing what you see in the WF.

There is a treasure trove of info in here, and many years ago I use this forum to go from J.O.B $0 a month online to quitting my job.
