The selling language
A "Send you kids to our high school. We have high academic standards".
B " Send your teenagers to our high school. For the past three years, the Board of Education has ranked us in the nation's top fiteen, in terms of SAT score."
The obvious B right? Why? Because the language in B is specific and tagible. It creates a picutre in people's mind and has facts that can be corroborated.
We need to do this as well, I mean we think in pictures, so lets give them pictures by using picture language, instead of generalities.
Don't say " My financial planning service can help you grow your money".
Say "My financial planning service has given my clients and average yearly return on their money of seventeen percent".
Language and how we use it is so important! In my other world I deal in Dog Language and how to communicate dogs in their language, the way that makes sense to them, so I'm kind of hung up on the language thing.
Any sugguestions or comments on this would be appreciated. What do you think? :p
