Here the thing, I have set aside $500 for my affiliate marketing. I not going for ppc or buying one more shiny course to my collection.

I know there free traffic, but if you want make money in 60 days. Then as the saying goes it take money to make money.

How much I like to make? My answer is $18 per day.

Thank in advance.

What happens if someone could potentially help you achieve that for an outlay of only $250 when you've shown your cards at $500?

Why do you need to spend $500 rather than ask what it might cost to achieve your goal?

It might take money to make money but the more money saved, the more you have. With that in mind, it's often better capping expense in your mind rather than tell people what you are willing to spend.

      Daniel makes a great point.

Personally, what I'd do, especially if you're new is look at seeking out a mentor who is successful.

As you say, you don't want another shiny course, but what I've done is dropped every course i have, and listened to my mentor and just run with his strategy's and systems and its working.

Speaking from personal experience that's what I would do personally.

      Good luck with your journey!

Daniel I already know the cost as I have budget for this project. It will be foolish to give all at once. This is business. For me start small than go big.

I posting as I like to know how other will do it.

    Thank for the supportive advice

I think you missed my message.

I wasn't suggesting you expend all of your budget. I was suggesting to the contrary for you to consider a method of conserving your money. You'd only be foolish to consider that your cost is based upon what you are willing to pay to achieve something as specific as $18 per day especially at a time when overall budget is limited.

Your budget only becomes the cost when you state it openly to a person who is more than willing to take it from you in exchange for something they might of otherwise done for less.

A car dealer won't work on the fact his car is worth $45k if you've just told him you're out to spend $50k.

          Like a car dealer analogy?

If you are willing to offer X amount, it's quite possible the next person will take it regardless if their price would have otherwise been less.

Asking "What can I do with X amount" is saying "I want to expend money".

Asking "What does it cost" says "I want to spend money wisely".

Thank for the example but you misquote me. I not spending I investing. And I not sugarcoat the word investing.

Investing is still a spend which involves risk which can be lessened by spending less.

If you had of asked "What can I achieve by investing $500?" then the dynamic of your question would be entirely different but you stated a specific goal of achieving $18 per day which could be hypothetically fulfilled by spending less than $500.

I'm not convinced we're on the same wavelength but best of luck regardless.

Only way you'll make that money on affiliate marketing is if you get lucky and find a niche you're super passionate about with good payouts.

Otherwise it's a waste. Go for a service instead.

Begin by researching for a mentor in the affiliate marketing genre, if you're set on affiliate marketing as your specialty among the dozens of ways you can go. Then use your very best judgment in choosing that mentor. In addition to Googling the term affiliate marketing mentor and investigating them thoroughly including on the scam sites, ask for recommendations in the main forum here, and look in the classifieds and the services offered forum here in WF.

Although I'm not certain, seems it would be hard to find a good one for under $500, but you need to consider that, as you'll need to hold back some of that money for expenses: Domain names, autoresponder, and more including quality, ongoing content writing because you are English-challenged and need someone who is not. Be very careful with your money as you can lose it before you even get a business off the ground.

    Good luck,
    MBDirect

this amount is perfect for PPC.

I know you are totally writing off PPC, but realistically you could turn that $500 into $1000 or even more with PPC with smaller tests.

Find something converting and then ramping it up. Some of our PPC campaigns that have been running for years have a very good ROI.

Well, you can buy a web site from a college student who now has a job and cannot take care of it anymore. Please spend a lot of time doing research before you spend any money. Also, a $500 site should generate for you $50 per month or $600 per year. That is using the 10X rule, but some advocate the 20X rule with means $25 per month or $300 per year. Hey, it is up to you.

Like Dan Kennedy said, "if you cant make money without money... how do you expect to make money with money?"

I would start off with a free marketing campaign that will help you to learn the ropes about internet marketing, and promoting your website without any money. This is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. You will see that this is true when the companies that you're investing money into suddenly closes your account (Adwords, Amazon, Ebay, etc).

Thank MBDirect for your advice. To me a mentor is just another shiny product. They will just blast you with product to buy. Correct me if wrong.

Thank celente for your advice. Actually I eying on Adword, but with all the bad reviews I keep getting, make me think twice. Another feature interest me is the payment are in local, that save me lot of money. Same time I also eying at fb ad, but I not sure what niche will be good for this platform.

Great advice seobro both way work well for me, as when convert to local dollar I still win. Now the question how to find them.

      .
I hate adwords there are other alternatives just as good. You can use bing, yahoo and other ppv sources. Just thought I would add that to the mix. Do not just go from the main contenter. It is always good to have a back up plan also. I have much success with yahoo, bing and adcenter.

If I was starting from scratch and had a budget of $500 I would hit the social networks for fast traffic. I would do the following:

      1. Find a good hosting service and budget $50 per month for hosting ($200)
      2. Find a good Facebook app I could configure or use a Software as a Service hosted solution (Budget $100)
      3. Identify a niche(s) and start developing Facebook apps with good content
      4. Ensure Apps are cross promoting each other
      3. Spend the remanding $200 getting traffic to ensure I have a number of apps hit the 10 user limit so they appear in the Facebook directory.

I mentored somebody to do just that last year and he hit $19 per day in the second month.

Little secret.. find a good site for lets say $300 bucks.. build it and drive traffic to it, raise its alexa ($100), then flip it... Years ago..I did this and took a $300 site and sold it for $6,000 in less than 30 days. Not a bad for a guy who knew little back then

The best is having your own product and sell it (Clickbank, Amazon, etc...). You will have Clickbank affiliates selling your product too, a multiplied sales force.
Having your own product you will have what is called residual income.
You should look/search for a good niche (it is free to do it), see if there is something you like and can write about, if not, invest a small amount to outsource it (an eBook, a course - PDF or video), etc.

You are talking repeatedly about shiny products, it seems you didn't know how to find real value products. There are several high value products. Please remember, life is a continual learning. To be successful in IM, which is a fast changing environment, you must keep learning, unless you want be just another fox wasting time without making good money.

Myrin yes we should continue learning, however sadly 99.99% product I bought are crap, dry or outdated.

I would be using the $500 to buy a website on flippa.com

With that budget you will get a great site which is probably already making some money every month. Tweak it so it converts better, add some traffic and then decide if you want to sell it or keep it.

Why start from scratch when you can get a big head start by taking over a site that somebody else has put a lot of work into?

PS Not to be on the defensive after your abrupt dismissal of my mentor suggestion, I mentioned it only because the only two times I've subscribed to a combination mentoring and training course (which I am currently into) is because it's making a major difference, the mentors and their training are the real thing, and I thought starting out with someone you judge to be of true value would be a conservative way to risk your money. Wouldn't have mentioned it if I were not confident and very excited about the concept. Also the courses are closed and was not promoting anything. Just sayin'.
