Any Inventors Here? and...What Did You Invent?

I came across a pretty ingenious site yesterday called "Edison Nation".

Edison Nation — See your product ideas on store shelves

Has anyone else seen/heard of it?

I've had a small handful of "ideas" in the back of my head, but I never really took the time to act on them....with Edison Nation, this interface looks like it could be a real "game-changer" for the everyday joe who wants to see their idea/product go somewhere....looks like it's $25 to submit an idea....seems like a VERY low barrier to entry to get someone to look over, evaluate, and possibly act on something and turn it into the next big thing...

Anyone ever try submitting an idea to this site?

I've never heard of the site before, but it looks pretty interesting.

    Thanks for the link.

Alright, I'll throw my 2 cents in on this...

As a pro in this field, (pro meaning I have had several "over a million units sold" items I'm listed on the Patents as "Inventor" and have made some hefty dollars for my efforts), I visited the site and really don't see where they spell out a distinct and ironclad reason to join the site.

That's not to say the site has no validity, my comment is that as a professional inventor they're not talking my language.

(Btw, if Brian McLeod chimes in on this thread take what he says as gospel. Outside of myself, he is the one person I know for a fact here on the WF is an expert in this field. And it wouldn't surprise me if we have quite a few others, as well.)
