Well, I used a mixture of sources. But the real catalyst was coming to terms with the fact that most of the super successful marketers, all had their own product. I just decided to be brave and create my own.

Niche research was pretty easy; I simply looked at what was doing well in the CB marketplace and build a similar product.

It's early days, but I am confident in the business model and i'll definitely update you guys on the progress.

Clickbank products will probably do even better with the new Adsense-style Clickbank ads they can provide.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of these appearing on MFC (Made-For-Clickbank) websites. This will actively involve a lot more of the Clickbank affiliates.

Well if someone can offer a sensible alternative to Google Adsense I'd be gratefull. I tried them on one of my business sites with a modicum of success then they cancelled my account because - they said - USD88 commission in the first month was "suspicious"! Hah.

Also the ads they served were not that relevant. For example a post about problems with Bulgarian property sellers served an ad for Bulgarian girls looking for "friendship" (!). Guess what - a post about the problems of cut and burn in the Brazilian rainforests served an ad for Brazilian girls looking for "friendship".

Congrats Havplenty - what you explained (looking at what is already selling and jump in with both feet) is such a simple, powerful concept, but for many it is so hard to do.

I have several coaching clients who are producing info products ranging from $27 ebooks through >$1,000 seminars - many already have profiles in their industry, and try to force-feed their knowledge into digital information products WITHOUT watching what is in high demand.

General information may sell in a bookstore, but specific solutions and desired outcomes sell online...by finding what those desired outcomes are, you can tap into the flow of money already being spent.

We've done this several times with info products - our latest product is on CB - in the personal achievement niche, but again focusing on a very specific desired outcome. Early sales are very promising, sales page is converting at better than 2% and affiliates are already making sales.

CB is not the only place to look, but certainly should be one of the first.

  For those above who asked about the new Clickbank service:
  
  Clickbank recently brought out a new service - Adsense style ads. This is bound to kill services like CBProAds who charge for doing the same thing. The Clickbank service is free and you get the full commission (less CB normal charges).
  
  It used to be that descriptions in the ads from Clickbank had content that aimed at affiliates rather than the users of the product. This new style of ad contains good quality material which is relevant to prospective buyers.
  
  To set it up you need to log into your Clickbank account and click on Account Settings. The top navigation bar has a link to HopAd Builder.
  
  It's very easy to use, and is free. Fiddle with the keywords until you get the displays you want.
