Blueprint For Making 7 figures Onlines

Warriors,

I've been wanting to write this post for over a year but just never taken the time to actually do it. This is really my way of saying thank you to Allen and all of the long time warriors that have contributed to keeping this forum informative and valuable since the beginning. I'm also writing this because it is sickening to see threads about people being discouraged, frustrated and on the verge of giving up. Many times before they even experience real failure. I see far too many people fail before they even start. Failure should be apart of your growth and not the reason you quit. No one is stuck where they are at if they don't want to be. There is no cant, but there definitely is "I don't want to."

My Story

Many may or may not know who I am as I don't post very often, but I do follow the threads that provide valuable information. I wrote this thread because I want to create inspiration among fellow entrepreneurs. I want to show people that motivation and determination comes from within, it just takes convincing yourself. No one else can convince you, but they can inspire you.

I started IM over 6 years ago pretty much clueless like everyone else who started. I didn't have a plan or know where to go, but I never second-guessed that I wouldn't be successful online. I made my mind up before I started that I would learn from every experience and become successful online no matter what it took. You have to fight for your dreams, as they will never come to you! As I am writing this now I have achieved some success online and have earned over 7 figures but I am far from where I want to be. You must never underestimate yourself, as you are far more valuable than you think! With that said, I wanted to share what has given me the ability to make over 7 figures online.

Change the Way You Think

When I first started IM, I am not going to lie, I was lost. I had the idea that I wanted to make money but it was still just an idea. I had to be a provider so I had to make this work. Beginning is the hardest part of the process because you do not have the motivation of tangible results and income like you do years later. It almost feels like you are climbing up a ramp covered in sand and no matter how hard you climb, you slide back down. The way to overcome this is you need to tell yourself that you will make money, and that you can be successful no matter how discouraged you are in the moment. I can sit here and tell you this over an over again but ultimately; you need to change the way you think. You need to make this work. This advice needs to come from yourself, because no two people go through the same experiences. Changing the way you think is the most powerful step.

Do Not Set Limitations

It is very easy to come up with excuses for why you cannot do something, and believe me I had many. Until I changed the way I was thinking, I was not the smartest person in IM, I was not the most tech savy person in IM, so why would I be able to make money? This is exactly what you do not want to think about. When you think about why you can't do something, you end up convincing yourself of why you cant do something. In fact, you need to do the opposite. You need to convince yourself of why you can do something. I decided to not put limitations on what I knew my abilities were, and doors opened up in the internet marketing world. I began to learn the insides and out of different processes and created ways to make them more streamlined and efficient. No one idea is perfect, and there will always be improvements. The opportunities are endless when you go out into the internet marketing world and find them. So, don't set limitations on the way you think in terms of reason and what has been done before, because when you set limitations you are the one putting the glass ceiling in place.

Do Not be reasonable.

Along with limitations, reason is your worst enemy. And just like you can convince yourself why you cant do something, you can rationalize your thoughts and compare them to what's out there already. If I were to rationalize my ideas I would have taken myself out of the race. When starting IM you have to get rid of the mindset that there is someone who has already capitalized on your idea. I believed that if you can take an idea, and make it better, you have a product. Ideas are all basis for improvement. This way of thinking came when I sat there, staring at my screen, knowing that every second I set there, someone else was selling my idea. That could be true, but you cant waste your energy thinking like that. You need to be confident in yourself that you can take an idea and make it better, or introduce a new idea. IM is all about evolution. A new idea comes out, and soon enough, new and better versions of that idea come out. It's a very exciting process, that is all about opportunity. Keep in mind that most of the billion dollar companies today did not start with reason; they started with foolish ideas that were hard to understand or new versions of ideas that fulfilled a new need. That crazy idea you have in the back of your mind may be the next billion-dollar idea.

Create a Vision

Before you begin to make money online, create a vision. This vision needs to include what you want your life to be like, how much you want to make each month, the house you want to live in, the car you want to drive, the debt you want to pay off. Literally find images for these goals, print them out, and put them on a bulletin board. The vision is that initial payout that keeps you going in the beginning when you have nothing. I know exactly how that feels, I started with nothing. But that vivid image of where I wanted to be, kept me going until I actually saw results. Results will come, but you have to be consistent. Do not give up immediately. I cannot stress this more!!

There is No Plan B

When you are dedicated to a goal, to a vision, there is nothing else in your path. That goal is your life and there should be no plan b in case of failure. There is no plan b, because there is no failure. You have to keep that mindset or it is just too easy to give up and try again another day. Pushing it off just postpones your procrastination.

Formulate a Plan of Attack

Now that you have a vision, you need to create a plan. Checklists work great where you can lay out all your ideas from the beginning and have a physical representation of where you need to be after certain periods of time. Your plan needs to include an income model. How will your idea make money? How can you tweak this idea to make more money? What needs are out there in the IM community that have not been answered? Virtually any idea can be monetized. The benefits to creating a model of income are incredible. Take the time to learn a basic income model and you will be able to apply it to almost any idea.

You have a mindset, a vision, and a plan so now you need to stick to it. The structure of the plan is a way to keep your self on track. I know that when I started out, my mind was racing. There was so much information that I became confused and lost. The best way to prevent confusion is stick to your goals that you have set in place. This is not to say that you are to stop thinking about ideas outside of your goals, its not. Continue to write down your ideas in a notebook and come back to them when you feel comfortable with the goal your currently are trying to accomplish. It is important to take small steps towards a goal, instead of trying to accomplish everything at once. When you take small steps, you may not see instant results, but you will gain the security of creating reliable sources of income and building your business properly. Consistency is key when you run a marathon. If you sprint to fast in the beginning, it is inevitable that you will burn out and never see the finish line.

If your goal is to be successful in IM, this is it. Your energy should be dedicated to your dream and you should eat, breath, drink and dream IM. You can relax when you have reached your ultimate goals. I know that even after 6 years of IM, I am not comfortable. I still pull all nighters to get jobs done. I still work long hours in order to generate new sources of income. Is it an easy road? No. Is it a rewarding road? Yes. I can truly say that the struggles have made me a better person. From day one, when I was lost staring into a blank search engine, to today, it has been a challenge. You have to adapt to the struggles that are presented to you. Your ability to adapt will determine if you are able to succeed. And your ability to adapt is driven by your ability to change the way you think. If you are able to change the way you think, you will be successful and you know that from day 1!

That's a great story mate and a great lesson for everybody involved in not only internet marketing or business but life in general.

If more people in the world just realised that failure was only temporary, we would have far more success stories such as yours.

Exactly, failure is really the key to successful growth as an entrepreneur! The sad part is that most people walk away when they are seconds from breaking though.

The tips here pretty much scream out "take a risk," and I have to agree with that. When you're starting something in the lines of an online venture, or any type of money-making activity for that matter, you really have to take a risk. That's nothing to be afraid of, especially when you gave some time for planning.

    Great advice, Paul!

What's crazy is that a lot of marketers already know how to be successful but many want to over complicate things and make the process near impossible. There are so many ways to earn a living online from creating eBooks (Not just on the warrior forum), drop shipping, ecommerce, selling digital goods (eBooks, software, themes, plugins, etc.), selling services, buying and selling web properties and so much more. The key is to build your business around your traffic source and not the other way around. Once you know where to locate your traffic, then it's all about testing and tweaking your offer or service.

I love this and it's exactly this sort of thinking that made the difference in my IM career.

I feel like so many people get distracted by "shiny objects" because they don't have faith in whatever marketing methods they're presently sinking time into. What newbies don't realize is that EVERYTHING CAN & WILL MAKE MONEY if put in the right place and in front of the right people.

You can walk into IM with literally any skillset and find a money-making method that fits your abilities. There are no limits, there are no "golden tickets", only determination and focus.

Now, that's one inspiring story...spoken from the heart of a true Warrior.

    PJ,

You had mentioned "just getting started" being the most difficult part because the motivation of future income and success as a driving force just isn't there (yet)....what kind of things did you look to as motivation to get you through the early days where, I'm sure, you exerted a significant amount of effort, and (probably) only had little to show for it, at least until momentum built up? For those just starting out, what kind of advice would you give people who are struggling with staying motivated?

That was very inspiring, I got lots of inspiration for my own venture just by reading your advice.

I particularly can relate to the part about setting limitations. I find that personally I sometimes procrastinate on things I don't know how to do. As soon as I take the time to figure out the solution I get it done.

      very good.

i remember Will Smith said something like...

"there is no need for a plan B... because it only distracts from plan A"

    Nicely worded.

Initially I was going to disagree with your "Plan B" part, but then I read it again and grasped the context. It reminded me of that old story about a battle of two armies where the men were fleeing back to their ships, but their commander burned down their ships and told his men to "fight or die trying".

And they ended up winning the battle. It's very important for people to get absolute CLARITY on what they want to achieve and then never keep their mind off the prize. That doesn't mean they don't adapt and change though.

It's very important to have goals based on something more than just earning money or even obtaining freedom; writing down goals and reviewing them daily has worked for hundreds of years and it's something that will stand the test of time because it flat out works.

    Thanks for the post pj413!
    It was a great read.

I especially liked this paragraph: "Do Not be reasonable"

It's not something that I hear often, or mentioned at all, but there is allot of good value in what you said.

What you said here (below) is very true. I've seen many people try to discourage others, and even myself, from trying ideas that probably already exists.

I have been down that same road, and ended up achieving success and profitability, by improving on an already existing idea, that no one thought would work out well for me.

I may be the odd one, but I do feel just like reading a typical motivational book. All good points, but nothing really new Just a little bit of stress on how you ACTUALLY did it would have been better.

Excellent post!!!! I think every newbie should read this first before diving into IM. MUST READ!!!

Edit: I agree, it's vital to have a plan of attack and a method to work with that completely excites you! There are many ways of making money online but if you start with one that doesn't excite you, you will only end up procrastinating... So take time to learn about IM, browse around the forum, check some IM products out and find a method that excites you...

Also, don't try to do too many things at the same time. Stick to one/two methods and work up from there... And always have a goal!! Set a deadline if it helps you! And also don't be afraid to try new ideas. Think outside of the box... You don't have to stick fully to a method you're working with.
