Does anyone out there know of a good guide that can walk me through the process of finding new hot niches?

I always seem to get stuck on this part so a great guide to finding hot niches would be great thanks.

Google trends and Google Insights should help you out.

Anyways, you will only be successful in niches in which you have a personal interest in.

Think what people like to buy. Watch on forums, what kind of subjects people talking about, ask your friends/family. Do google research etc.

You can check out on NicheProfitClassroom. It's has five free videos and one of them is talking about the niche blueprint. The video's explaination is very comprehensive and i think it gives a good overview of niche research! I actually took notes for the videos. I hope this help!

    There are two top NICHES:

    1. Niches with Digital Product Solutions like Informational Products...
    2. Niches with Physical Product Solutions like Electronics....

#1 type of Niches can be found through Amazon best sellers, Magazine.com, Clickbank
    top products and Categories....

But as #1 has got so much competition and hype #2 type is also an option to look into:

#2 : For this Niches to find hot Niches...go to any Affiliate Network like
    CJ.com, ShareASale.com , LinkShare.com, ...and browse for best seller,
most sold offers and products...in every big real world site is a Niche...
like for "Lamps" , in linkshare.com you will see many best seller products like.... "Bath Room Lamps" ...i think it is itself a Niche...you can start a blog about it, give tips, and promote
    affiliate link for related stores....

    May this help,
    Mohsin

I won't lie to you, niche selection is really the hardest part of the equation. Nobody knows which niche will be profitable for them. The super high competition niches will always make money, ie. weight loss, bankruptcy, forex, credit cards, medical conditions, etc., but these niches are best suited for those who want to put in at least two years worth of effort to get ranked properly and make real money.

Having said that, why don't you go to your local bookstore and read the magazines there. You will find a ton of niche ideas right at your fingertips. Oh, and use free websites to test your ideas so you don't run out of cash at the start.
