It seems everyone has a different answer!

Coffee, breakfast etc aside - what's the first thing you do during your working day?

To get the ball rolling:

I put my to-do list together!

Pick up my tablet (while still in bed) and look at the emails from Paypal. Love seeing the "You have received a subscription payment" or "You have received new funds". Then look at other email.

Then get up when I feel like it some time later.

Sprint out of bed to turn off my alarm.

The first business-related task is usually email, while my coffee is brewing (I don't have a timer-one anymore).

1st working day , i will spend my time too all around example like poster or any book around me .

Get to know your colleague beside you and the better you can say hi to different department people .

Those are important because you need to know more about the company culture, people and job scope.

I go out the front door, lean on the railing of my deck and smoke a cigarette.

While doing that, I say to myself.. man you said you were quitting tomorrow last New Years Eve! Afterwards I stare at the big tree with pink flowers that attracts 100's of bumble bees in my front yard.

It smells like cheap old lady perfume.

      Then I say, lets go!

The first thing I do in the morning when I arrive to my web developer job, is to open my mails and open Google Analytics to see my traffic progress in my websites.
The analytics thing became an addiction lately hahaha I like to keep track of the traffic that I am making through all my promotion methods.

I check my traffic stats to my websites, check my Amazon sales for the previous day and then check emails.

From then, I either pick up what I was working on, or start focusing on a new way to increase traffic or conversions.

The very first thing I do is drink a lot of water when I wake up, then I begin my 45 - 60 minute exercise routine.

I then make a vegetable / protein smoothie and gobble that up. From there I look up at my white board what I had written the night before to know EXACTLY what I will do that day, from there I usually touch base with my VA team and manager to perform a quality audit on all their work.

I don't check any e-mails or stats until all that is completed. Server and list back ups are done nightly, no exceptions.

    And then it's ON!

I always check my email first, but I'm thinking that I would be better off checking my to-do list - to get a sense of what I need to accomplish that day.

I always start my day with a strong cup of coffee and I do my workout. Fitness is very important and keeps me focussed on my health. It can be very easy to get lazy when sitting in front of a computer all day.

Then I make a list of my 5 things I am going to do each day. I try to divide all my jobs into 5 things that way I know for sure everything will get done.

I check out my To Do list for the day and quickly log into my email and see if there's anything important in there.

Once that's done I exit out of it and start working away through my tasks.

For the last 40 days, I grab a cup of coffee and go here: Alcoa Eagles .

A perfect day, from March thru October, starts with 3-4 hours of bein' at the lake and doing a little trout fishing.

On the crappy weather days (and most of the winter)... I work like a dog so I can goof off in the nice weather!

I always prepare a weekly to-do list before the week begins, then a daily to-do list at the end of each day (it is for the next day).

Consider trying this because it can vastly increase your productivity.

No matter what, I write first :-)

In America anyone can go straight to the top. And here's what's exciting- It is the bottom that is crowded, not the top.

I wake up, shower, check my Google Analytics (an obsession), and then make breakfast.

As I said, checking my Analytics has literally become an obsession. Since my blog was started very recently, every single visitor counts (at least in my eyes). I love waking up to find that a few more people have read my writing. Great feeling.

I have also found that I check the Site Stats for my blog (in the JetPack Wordpress Plugin) many times during the day because it provides real-time (or near real-time) updates. I have the Wordpress app on my phone just for this reason.
