Looking For A Local Events Wordpress Plugin

I am looking for a Wordpress plugin that can display local events or local news.
For instance: Grabbing local news or local classified ads.
Is a WP Plugin like this available?
Any help will be much appreciated.

    It might be easier to just display an RSS feed in a widget from some local source of news and jobs.

    Here is just 1 source from a quick search, it has lots of RSS feeds for different subjects:

    Wordpress Events Manager: it has many options.
    Wordpress Calendar this plugin allows for upcoming events, and gives an option for an AJAX enabled mini calendar to be shown.You can create a post or page from it.
