Does anyone know how to track sales in Google Analytics? I've read alot about it and I'm having trouble.

  I've can't find any threads on Warrior Forum related to this. I've read several Google articles, I'm in the process of watching a bunch of Youtube videos on the subject and I still don't know what I'm supposed to do.

  I'm just trying to set this up on a 1 page sales page. People go to the sales page, order through Digiresults/Paypal, and are redirected to a download page. Does anyone know how to track the source of the sale?

I have heard that google analytics can show you what site your traffic came from.

When you figure it out let us know. Maybe it could be a wso.

I'll be following this thread to find out the answer to this one.

I just recommend you get a good tracking company and use urls and then read the tracking data within their members area. You could use bitly alot of people do but free is free as you know sometimes they just wipe you out and/or disappear and they do not send you a notice.

I get detailed enough data about where all of my traffic is coming from through Google Analytics. I just want to know which parts of that traffic are converting to the thank you page.

Use this free Google tool to build your links... Google URL Builder

You will need to build a separate link for each campaign, FB, Adwords, etc.

But its free and awesome I use it to track everything.
