Clickbank - Yay or Nay?

I am considering becoming a vendor on Clickbank but I am not sure if it is worth the trouble to invest my time and money in them - they seem to have a lot of rules/fine print/hidden fees/etc.

My commission payouts would be $70 and I am in the self-help niche - I am not sure if this is good or bad LOL

Can anyone provide insight as to their experiences with CB?

Thanks!

Although I don't have any experience with CB but I think it's worth as they take care of everything and you just have to collect the check every 2 weeks, it will save you a lot headaches.

I never used clickbank but I think using them will help you get more sells.

Many people use clickbank feeds to sell their products so you could have people promoting your product automatically on their websites.

Plus...It's the top place affiliates go to promote products.

The key is to get listed in the marketplace. To do that you first have to make a sale.

Do you already have experience selling products?

If not, then yes you should do it.

Making, Polishing, and Marketing a product is experience you want to have under your belt and CB is a great place to start.

I am considering going to CB as well. I have ~ 5 million facebook and twitter followers through a radio station where I talk about my services, but honestly I personally can't handle any more subcontractors, so i think i am going there to put my training that i used to provide to my students. But if you have a good product and I see a good fit with my 5 mill facebook/twitter followers I think you and I should just sell it to them. I mean even if we get 0.05% of 5 mill in conversions, I think we should do well. I am looking for help for someone to promote my product as well fyi as I don't have the time.

    Hi Clickbank is fine,
yes they have a lot more rules than warrior plus. Thats due to the ftc.
but they are good guys, so go for it. Just be able to prove anything you say.
So no 10000000000 people have used this. Just be honest, you can market it up.

    (I'm a Clickbank affiliate, not a vendor.)

The product-acceptance criteria are there to protect all parties from the wrath of the FTC, etc., and bolster Clickbank's reputation, which has clearly taken a hit in recent years with the proliferation of sleazy sales-pages and lacklustre products in their marketplace.

They're still not that stringent, so if you're struggling to comply, you might want to ask yourself whether you have bigger problems.

There are many advantages to selling through Clickbank, anyway. They are long established, well known, their refund policy gives immense peace of mind, and - by far the biggest attraction - affiliates aren't reliant upon vendors for payment. Clickbank have a truly unparalleled record of reliably issuing payments on time.

Clickbank is also very affordable... you are paying a very small fee to have your product in front of millions of people and thousands of affiliates. It's really a very small investment to not at least give it a try

You have a problem, there, potentially.

Your retail price is going to be too high for ClickBank to be willing to accept it as a first product, I think. Unless, possibly, you're a very well-established vendor elsewhere whom they really want to attract, and you can negotiate a special deal with them. Otherwise you have to build up a reputation (based on a bit of turnover, and lack of refunds/problems with a lower-priced product) with ClickBank, before they'll accept a product in that sort of price-range. (You haven't said what the commission percentage will be, I know, but I'm guessing you're thinking of something like a $97 product?)

I have not done well wil CB, actually ive not spent enough time trying to earn money using CB, but will try soon.
But i find smaller market places like WSO, Digiresults, JVZoo are very good too.

    Thanks.

I didn't find the process too difficult at all. You just have to submit your product for review and pay the $50. Their guidelines are abit more stringent compared to a year or two ago, but a rep will advise what you need to fix to have it listed. Offer a 75% commission, get the traffic and you'll be laughing

Hi, I am a Stress Management and Relaxation Coach in Oregon. I am developing a product that I had considered putting on Click bank. I have many say that Click2sell is and awesome alternative.I am still in production phase so my launch is a while away. Self Help rocks, who doesnt need it and if they can get help privately... all the better. Good luck!

I make my living on clickbank and membership sites.

I do pretty good, and I have found clickbank good in taking care of everything for you, you just collect the checks every week.

I have also found their team polite and very helpful if that is use to you.

Clickbank is one of the better affiliate networks out there. They won't leave you hanging without a paycheck and their platform is simple and straight forward, so it's beginner friendly. Another thing I've noticed is the majority of products there have high commission, so you won't be delivering traffic for pennies in return!
