Anyone having success with Youtube in a language besides English?

Hello Everyone,

I have a Youtube channel with many how-to videos that would (with voiceover) translate nicely to any other language. I have adsense attached to it and am making some money with it.
I am thinking about creating a new channel for Spanish speakers.
IS anyone else having success in another language?

Looking for input, I have searched WF and big G for information about popular languages on Youtube with no results. All I found during my search was someone is attempting a big push real soon

"Under NuevOn, YouTube plans to establish 100 channels - all in Spanish - on topics such as humor, family, soaps and celebrities. Launching is scheduled for April 2012."

Guidance please.

      Not channels About language, Channels or videos done in another language. Like doing videos in one of the many Indian languages...
      I am considering Spanish to do my how to videos in.

      Like teaching people how to make paper airplanes in different languages.

        Well, seems like not too much interest with this subject, maybe. I am going ahead and translating videos in a second language and hope to be up with a second channel in the coming week. Put up 4-5, get some views and hope for an invite or signup for monetization on Youtube. Hope to post progress here in case anyone stumbles upon this who is interested.

          One of the niches I spend a good deal of my time in has an overwhelming Spanish language presence. I don't speak the language, but I can see they're killing it in that niche just by the number of videos and the views.

            Thanks for the feedback, have you considered testing the waters? I am thinking that Youtubers are missing opportunity with another language. I hope to have some test results in a couple months, if not sooner. I just found the language translation option at the bottom of the page on Youtube, quite a few options actually.

    I have just checked my new Spanish account, ZERO videos but I have monetization offer already, that is exciting to me. I do not have to wait for views to come in, or do any of the work I thought I might have to do to get the invite, sweet!

    I have several youtube accounts and have had some deleted in the past and can tell you from experience that there is a lot of traffic!! and can be very profitable as well!! We can exchange ideas if you are interested on tapping into the Spanish market.
