Guidance Needed for Releasing a Clickbank Product

Hello Friends,
I have plans of releasing a new product on Clickbank at the end of this month. Currently I don't have funds to start a company and if the product churns out decent sales I have plans to incorporate it. I have a few questions regarding pen names, privacy policy and disclaimer etc.

1. Are there any rules regarding the use of pen names in business? Also can you use pen names in Aweber?

2. Where can I get the content regarding Disclaimers, Privacy policies etc. without consulting the Attorneys? Also how legally safe is the usage of such content?

3. Can you point out any other tips/suggestions for someone releasing a Clickbank product for the first time?

Thanks

Why do you want to remain so anonymous? People buy from people. As soon as they detect someone is hiding and not as open as they might be they think scam.

I'm sure someone else can help with the legal questions.

As to your point 3. Posting something on clickbank is not the end of the process. You're going to have to do the hard work to get the initial sales going - then others will follow. Also they are quite strict about approving so you may have some delays as you fix what they don't like.

    Good luck

    Tony

Let yur buyer knows your name. They feel comfortable in knowing you.

      2. Where can I get the content regarding Disclaimers, Privacy policies etc. without consulting the Attorneys? Also how legally safe is the usage of such content?
Just write your own with basic points - like product given as it is, not responsible for any damage etc etc. Or contact your local lawyer to get a disclaimer.

      3. Can you point out any other tips/suggestions for someone releasing a Clickbank product for the first time?
      * Protect your product downloads.
      * Join into clickbank affiliate program to further increae sales.

If you take a look at Travis Sago (the original bum marketer) and his product The Magic of Making Up, he has made up a pen name for himself. He even has videos where he calls himself by his pen name.

There is nothing wrong with using pen names because it protects the niches that you are involved with and gives each of your aliases more credibility within each of your niches.

As for the boring legal stuff, you don't always have to make a long and formal disclaimer. Just look at examples in products that you already own and just take the gist of it and put it in your own words. I'm pretty sure you can do this, but better get an expert's advice

As for tips for launching, try contacting people who own products similar to your own for JVs. As long as your product isn't talking about the exact same stuff, then they'll probably agree if you offer a review copy and a tidy commission for them.

    1) No rules and Yes it's a good idea. Use pen names, it's fine. Aweber's fine too.

    2) Steal the outline, rewrite some stuff. They're technically copyright, so be careful. Note: Not legal advice.

    3) Create 10 clickbank accounts and rotate through them to artificially boost your Gravity ranking during the launch. You'll lose 50% of your revenue unless you make enough to get 4 different payment options on your affiliate accounts, but you'll make it up in affiliates that are attracted by your gravity score.

    Greyhat techniques, GO!

The reality is that it is very, very, very difficult to work your product up the CB rankings if you start at the bottom--which is where you will start out unless either 1. you have a substantial list yourself, or 2. you can get a fair number of JV partners to do promotional mailings for a pre-launch and the actual launch.

The problem is that the top 20 CB products in any niche (especially the IM niches like Marketing & Ads and Business To Business) were likely in the top 5 or so at one time and are now trickling down the charts.

If you study CB you will see that all of the products on the front page of any niche (especially in IM niche) were promoted by mass mailings of the super-affiliates and the big products always start out (the first day they are listed) in the top 5 spots because of the huge JV mailings. I would highly recommend programs such as Guru Assassin or CB Inner Circle to get some tips on product launches.

You need to announce your product launch in the various forums dedicated to this sort of thing. Also, (and I know you don't want to spend money, but...) most of the product launches give cash bonuses to the top selling affiliates for a 10-14 day period following a the launch date. This gives incentive to affiliates and the big guys like to try to out-do each other. The publisher usually maintains a leaderboard where affiliates can see how they stand.

Also, it helps if you have some big JV partners lined up when you go to an announcement forum and include their names so that others will see you've done your homework. The big announcement services need 6-8 weeks advance notice.

Also, the best day of the week for doing a product launch is TUESDAY! Trust me.

I probably made it sound impossible; it is not!
