Exp. Warriors, need your expert advice on simple matter...

Ok, paypal users, looking for a bit of help. Here is what I am trying to do:

I am running a $29 intro special (4 fitness bootcamp sessions for $29)

Once the 4 sessions are completed, I want to try to convert them to a monthly membership and offer to use the $29 they paid TOWARDS the monthly membership fee.

If I do a TRIAL PERIOD on Paypal it would be based on TIME, whereas these people could use the 4 sessions anytime within a 14 day period. So they may use all 4 in 4 days, so the paypal trial thing doesn't work in many cases. No, if they DO decide to convert, should I then set up an ADDITIONAL trial period and make that the difference between the $29 and full monthly fee, with the full monthly fee kicking in like a week after? (if that makes sense0

Thanks Warriors, just trying to get my dumb head around this, math makes me cry and pee a little...

Wow... you got me confused. All I can suggest is keep things simple! If I'm getting confused then your customers will be very confused about how the prices and guarantees etc. work.

    Keep it simple...

    1. 14 Day Boot Camp Trial (4 Sessions $29)
    2. Become a monthly member ($xx.xx per month - First month free)

    That's it...

Thanks Mike. The client sees ONE thing. $29. My opt ins are killing it, that is why I need the advice...1 month is $167 so no chance I can make it free, but I DO get where you are coming from. I am just using the $29 as a way to help make their decision to convert to reg monthly fee...

In that case, I think the idea in your original post would work as long as you can set it up like you said on Paypal. Just initiate another "trial period" for the differentiated price and then roll them onto normal payments.
