Is it worth trying to monetize parked domains?

Can anyone recommend a domain parking provider based on their own actual experience?

Are there any downsides to trying to monetize parked domains?

    Domain parking is an extremely weak way to monetize domain names these days. Several years ago, I did very well with Parked.com, but they have since folded like many others. The only time I use parking services these days is just to have a place to effortlessly put my unused domains while waiting to develop or use them. Once in a while, a few bucks are made. You are FAR better off putting up an Adsense site. That way you get all the click profit rather than splitting it with a parking company. When I do park, I use SmartName.com, but you need a fairly large quality portfolio to be approved.

    If you're asking this to get some knowledge and make some easy money from this, i suggest going on to another direction. You will find much more profitable ways of making money then this.

    I have found the way to increse traffic to parking domain.
    before you parking domain you have to know how many traffic to your domain every day, and also check with alexa the rank your domain.
    the best way to get traffic is from facebook just make fanpage that suitable to your domain dan collect more fans and make posting every day to your fanpage.
    after the traffic about 100-200 every days its time to parking your domain

    you can find this in my another post, but will tell here again,
    if you have 40 domains minimum, and account in domainsponsor(yahoo feed), ddc, trafficz, hotkeys, dotzup, parklogic the possibility to have $50-100 daily is not impossible
    you just have to do a JV with the right partner
