So frustrating how I can't get my money...

For some lucky reasons (which I have no idea how I got them), I got a few sales awhile ago as a clickbank affiliate.. which is about $150 in total.

I was super happy that I finally got it.

Now, the problem is that, clickbank says about the "Customer Distribution Requirement", which:

ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:
  • Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
  • Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or European Direct Debit(ELV)). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.

And I think those sales were only made by 2 different buyers..

Therefore it's so frustrating how I won't be able to get the money out...
and no matter how hard I try to do what I did before, there are just no sales anymore

Please help me.

Use this as inspiration to get your product out there. Work hard at improving your list and conversions. You won't have any troubles reaching those requirements if you start getting a decent number of buyers.

But it's been another month or so already that I get no sales at all :/
If I'm doing the right thing, there is no reason that the sales don't come..

    Maybe I just got lucky?

Can anyone teach me how I can get some more affiliate sales soon?

    Lol.

One fast crooked way is to get your relatives/friends to help and buy the product from you. And then you pay them back the sum in small cash.

After all, if you can't sell what you're selling to your relatives, it's better off that you don't sell them. If you don't want to lose cash, well... then just wait for it.

Don't sit around - multiply your efforts. Get more done as an affiliate. You probably won't notice it then... Money just rolls in on a consistent basis and you go, "What was $150 again?"

    True story.

Hey Jayne - you must be doing something right that you've banked $150. Just think about what you did to make those sales and redouble your efforts to make more.

Sure its a kick in the teeth but you've shown you can sell so just take it as a challenge to make more - Noel.

      Hi Jayne:

Congratulations on your sales so far. I know it's frustrating to wait, but like everyone has posted, in time the sales will come. One suggestion: it might help to get a mentor. I signed up for a free mentor at www.micromentor.org. and having my first session today. It's a nice alternative when you can't afford to pay for coaching yet.

Some people can`t even break $150 to begin with, so I applaud you for getting there. I would advise what everyone has mentioned already. Get there again by doubling your efforts of what your doing now and finding what areas to make small tweaks.

If your goal is to only get your funds released, then have friend or two buy a $3 product from CB with your affliate ID (recipes are cheap)...or you could even buy one yourself just to reach the "5 different card #'s" CDR requirement.

You gotta keep on pushing man. Get that extra traffic and make your sale.

Look into diversifying your sales strategies. Get on youtube, twitter, forums etc. This might actually be a blessing in disguise to get you out of your comfort zone and reignite whatever method you used to make those first sales.

I know how it feels but you gotta push harder.

Are you following any kind of blueprint? Are you building a list? If you say the sales came about from 'lucky reasons' it sounds like not. You need to get an organized system in place first and stick to it then think about money later.

Wow, its amazing how someone can say something without actually transferring information. I'm sorry posters, but your not helping. Or as other IMers might say, your not adding value. Some of you are actually making suggestions, but not many. Telling someone they need more sales without offering a way how is infuriating to the person receiving that comment. Of course she needs more sales, didn't it say that in the OP? I can understand wishing someone luck, but add some value otherwise it means little.

Jayne, do you know where those sales came from? Do you track who clicks what link? What forms of marketing are you using to get your product out there?
If you are not doing all of them, try more. If you are posting 2 comments or threads a day, post 4. If you are setting up 5 back links a day do 10.

If you are not tracking clicks, now would be a good time to start. Tracking information is extremely valuable especially when you are first getting off the ground.

Also, think about Cooler1's advice. A blueprint is much much much better than flailing around willy nilly.
