Hey People,

Just wanna an opinion about Animoto service or any other one. Do you guys consider it a good program to use to promote your website on youtube? In terms of getting traffic to it.

Thanks,
Jbarros

I've found YouTube, at least for my ventures, to be an afterthought. While they can produce some traffic, even a good amount, it isn't the #1 place I tend to run to when it comes to marketing. I'd focus first on SEO, offering quality in whatever you're doing, testing, creating articles for your site to drive traffic, and possibly in the future once everything is set up and doing well, increase the scale of your business, venture, whatever it is, by taking advantage of YouTube.

When I make videos, i spend lots of time on them and treat them like small websites. i do complete SEO on them and try to rank them in the search engines. hope that helps!!

I don't think Animoto play a big role to get the traffic for your videos. The traffic will come more when you treat the SEO side better such as to use popular videos tags as your tags (So it will make your video become "related videos"). Animoto though can make a great video and it will be better if you can choose a good thumbnails for your video.

Well I understand about getting organic traffic etc. But considering that my website is a squeeze and I'm trying to get people on to my e-mail list.

Yeah I seo my website just in case later on I want to build something bigger.

I'm just wondering what would be the best strategy to get some traffic to my squeezepage?

I know that youtube is like the 2nd biggest sources of traffic online that's why I was considering using it.

Animoto is fine for making videos but it won't help you get any views to them. For that to happen you'll have to nail your On Page and Off Page Optimization which will give Google a lot of info about your video topic and help it to show up in searches.

I find it to be a worthwhile method of generating traffic but like anything else it does require a bit of work. If your willing to put that in then it could be very useful to you..
