30 Day Challenge Question...

Hey guys,

I just got to day 20 or so of the 30 DC, and I have been "stuck" for a few days. My keyword isn't very good, so, I don't know if I have just a bad keyword, have marketed it poorly, have a bad affiliate product, or, it's just not time yet. To a degree, this is a time sensitive keyword, and the time will be in just a few more months.

That being said, the next lessons I am going to do are about buying google adwords. That's cool, but, I am wondering..

After selling this affiliate product, what do we learn to do next? I know Ed said that this wasn't about selling affiliate products, but, selling our own products. For example, I don't know how I can create my own product for this niche, but, just rather, point to other niche.

Let's, for example, use the "crochet" example. I can point to a crochet magazine, but, what can I do after I start to get the traffic?

Thanks.

Jeremy

Here is my take on the 30DC:

Use it as a way to learn about the tools and techniques used in IM, but don't freak out if you don't earn money right away. While it is possible to earn a buck in your first 30 days, focus on getting familiar with the techniques and then build up the skills one by one.

You are basically combining months, if not years, of learning into 30 days.

As far as monetization goes, you can point to a magazine, put adsense on your blog, create an ebook about crochet, find and sell an ebook about crochet, etc.

One of the most important parts about choosing a niche is making sure there is a way to monetize. Your keyword will take some time to build traffic.
