Hello,
I have just had my sunny day ruined by some..... hackers! and CC fraud

I just thought I should let everyone know that I have just had an unauthorised user on my website.

I am using twenty 11 . version 3.3.1
I deleted the hacker and changed my password on WP.

They added themselves as a subscriber....
I am new to this so Im not sure how they did this. They did not do anything to the website... but it has kind of freaked me out a little.

I have high security on my computer for malware, viruses etc... I dont know what else to do.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Also be aware of GOOGLECC@GOOGLE.COM. They charge my CC for $100.00, and I don't know who they are.
I did a little research and this is what I found.
GoogleCC@google.com Singapore Complaints - Scambook - Scam Reports, Consumer Complaints, Class Action Lawsuits.

So then I had to cancel my cc...Its just soo irritating

Thanks

I recently got my website hacked and sites compromised as a result of malware as well. They exploit loopholes of old PHP scripts and wordpress versions.

I found the guys at Sucuri Security and they cleared up my ****z. You better do a complete scan of your servers Kysaan!

    Hi,

From the website link you gave, I guess it is a random fraud done by a group of people. They have access to CC and Debit Card numbers.

They must've have hacked commercial/financial database servers holding CC info.

CCs can't be charged online unless they have:
    1. CC/DC numbers
    2. 3 digit security numbers
    3. Full address
    4. Name
    5. Expiry Dates

They normally do such things in a short span of time to get the most. And then fly.

      Hi,

Will this news answer your question?

" Law enforcement officials are investigating what appears to be a massive theft of U.S. consumers' credit card data, MasterCard and Visa confirmed Friday. The computer security expert who first reported the theft said it might involve as many as 10 million MasterCard and Visa accounts, making it one of the largest known credit card heists. "

Here's the main link to the news. I bet there are more news that the banks and their vendors are scrambling to hide.

And here is the precaution I take before blaming the banks.

And here is a suggested precaution before totally blaming the banks.
