I'd probably say the IM niche but its a very saturated niche so theres a lot of competition and many of the people might already be on other IM email lists.

Not here to advertise or anything like that but,
from the niches i dealt with, cigarettes has been the most profitable one.
I bet that many of the next posts will talk about- weight loss, forex,adult, pharma, etc. Which are basically very known ones.
I believe more in the new ones and less renown.

I think email marketing can hold good for anything SEO related. This is because of the fact that SEO is what everybody wants these days. Therefore I think anything that is SEO-oriented can be tried through email marketing.

Well, some niches have been dismal failures. For example, underwater basket weaving went over like a lead balloon, as did promoting lead balloons.

I made a killing on lead balloons during the student riots over here. I also did well with chuckarock.com during the London riots.

One must capitalize on current affairs and trends.

Not that I'm aware of, you should create nothing.com for when something isn't happening.

It really is not mine. I know nothing about something.com, but for a long time now it has intrigued me in a supercilious sort of way as a rather common example of sisyphean efforts for ranking something so abysmally silly.

Not on islands like this, no. Nothing ever happens here. "Something" has more context-relevance to mainland Europe, really. You might want to try more along the lines of "quelquechose.fr" or even the more insouciant "un-peu-de-quelquechose.fr": that would doubtless rank very nicely even with its hyphens. :p

The most obvious ones are of course anything having to do with drugs, sex or making money quick, lol. These may be saturated but there is always room for more if someone can come up with a unique way to market what they have.

If you already have a list of emails that you are planning to send an offer to, then what you send should depend on what type of emails you have. For example, if you have emails for people wanting a new car, you could use a CPA offer for auto insurance. If you don't already have a list once you decide on the best product to market, make sure the list you gather or purchase would be of interest to that list.

Any niche that buys is profitable. Check on clickbank and amazon and you'll find their bestsellers. Pursue niches close to these bestsellers and you'll make money.

Male Enhancement, Weight Loss, Drugs, Sex, IM and so on MIGHT seem the most profitable but that's because they are the most explored and most common.

Lots of people make money with these niches, does this make them the most profitable?
