What Hosting Company can I transfer a ltd.uk domain too?

Hey guys,

Having a problem here, one of my clients has a ltd.uk domain, they were messed about by the current hosting company which is where the domain is also registered to.

So what I need to know is where can I transfer a ltd.uk domain too? I thought hostgator they said yes but then realised they can't!

Any advise would be great!

    You appreciate that these are technically subdomains, not domains per se?

    I admit I don't see anything about hosting regulations there, but you can always contact them, here: Nominet - Contact Us

    I always recommend "Heart Internet" for UK hosting - they'll soon tell you if they can host it ...

    That's not a domain extension I've encountered before. I use BetterWebSpace - Domain names and Hosting Services

    You could contact them and ask if they can host it for your client.

    Yeah I was suprised too Alexa, yes as I have never seen a ltd.uk domain before! maybe getting in touch with Nominet is the answer!

    Hmm so if this is a subdomain I wonder what the actual domain is?? Strane 1 which I haven't encountered before...
