If you are new to internet marketing, I recommend that you start with free traffic generation methods. Many starting marketers are on a budget, so the free way is usually something to consider, also it helps you learn how everything works (for example, if you learn SEO first, you will learn PPC much easier in the future).

You can start out by offering small jobs or services to get some initial cash flow and then re-invest. You can offer something on Fiverr, every gig you sell gives you $4. You only need to get 10 orders per day to make $40/day, which is good for a start!

  "Tricks" - no, "methods" yes..
  
  Pick a plan and stick to it - don't be distracted by new "shiny objects". All too often people post that they tried something for a month, but it didn't work; the reality is, very few IM methods show any results in one, two or even three months. Six months - yes, nine or twelve months even better.
  
  The reality is, if more IMers researched proven methods, them implemented just one, and worked hard at it for a year, we would probably be reading many more success stories than we are currently.

I have heard that some people use the following:

1. Open a new account at the Warrior Forum
2. Come up with an idea for something you can sell
3. Don't do any of the work yourself
4. Ask other people for a list of "tricks"
5. Compile list and sell.

  Provide "good quality content" and you will get a "good quality link" from someone who shares, likes, or links to said content. It's the easiest (and most viable long term) way to do it in my opinion.
