Bookmarking a blog post question

If you would post a couple of different articles on the same blog on the same day and submitted them to social bookmarking sites on the same day, would this be considered spamming by bookmarking sites?

Only if you did it a lot under different IDs. Most won't consider a single bookmark for a single post to be spamming. The only exception would be sites that prohibit self-promotion. I'd also recommend throwing in other bookmarks from sites you obviously don't own to make your account look more legit and less self-promotional.
