How to track solo ad clicks?

How can I track solo ad clicks?

I want to buy a solo ad, send the traffic to my squeeze page and I want to track how many people clicked on my link basically?

Is it possible to set up unique links so that if I have more than one solo ad going to the same squeeze page I can see exactly how many clicks each solo ad sent to my squeeze page?

I would really appreciate any help.

Thank you,
Sean

Go take a look at Easy Tracker Pro. It will give you the solution to all of tracking needs. It was created by Daegan Smith to give marketers a all in one tracking solution.

    hey sean

you dont need anything fancy keep it simple

use google url shortner to track your unique clicks that each solo ad sends you

then what you need to do to track the conversion and how profitable each solo ad campaign is, is to set up a new web form in your auto-responder for each new solo ad that you buy

(your auto-responder will do the tracking u dont need fancy tools)

name it the solo you bought

    clone your squeeze page

i usually name my cloned squeeze page something like /ad1 or /ad2 etc

then once you have your cloned squeeze page set up, plug that squeeze page into your url shortner and then give your url shortner to the solo ad provider

this way every solo ad you buy you can track:

how many clicks they sent you
    opt in rate
track how many sales that solo ad sent you
also when you make a sale in days, weeks, months to come you can see which solo
    ad sent you that person

this is how i set up all my campaigns and its bullet proof :-)

    hope this helps

    paul :-)

Paul, that is really excellent advice and it saves on having to purchase extra tools in addition to the solo ads as well.

I was going to say the exact same thing
because this is exactly how I do it myself.

Never understood all the talk about buying
      expensive tracking, ESPECIALLY when you
      are starting out.

It's BEST to do it eventually when making
a consistent profit, but the good ones are
      fairly expensive to start.

ClickBoss and AdTrackzPro are solid, so when
your business grows it'll be easier to track
      everything.

It might be worth setting up y0our own URL shortener on your own website because Bud URL and all the other shorteners might not get through to a persons inbox and your email may be redirected to the Spam folder.

mike, all of the solo ad providers that i use never use my actual google url shortner link to send to there lists as they all have there own ways of doing things anyway

i know what you mean though some shortners that we can use may get put straight into the spam folder

I've heard of people using Google Analytics to track clicks.

... I've always been a bit uneasy with the method, but it certainly is free.

I am sure you can find a tutorial on how to set it up simply by searching here on the WF or on Google.

I use budurl to track clicks and use hypertracker to track sales...

I've been using both for years.
