Please help, should I use add to cart signs and where should I put sub forms for email lists

Hi guys, I was just wondering for my site gemgadget(dot)com should I use add to cart signs at the bottom of the article (i try to make a sale with amazon's affiliate program) or should I use an amazon image or what do you guys recommend? Also, should I put my subscription form at the start of the post, middle or end? Currently I have it at the start of my post. All comments will be appreciated and thank you for your time!

For an affiliate, add to cart seems quite aggressive. Most affiliates recommend products rather than trying to sell them.

I'd just go with an image of the product.

I think that having the opt-in form at the start of the
post interrupts the flow of the article.

After all, people click on the post title to read more
      of the content.

I'd consider placing the opt-in form in the sidebar.

For the links to Amazon, I'd test having big bold
blue underlined hyperlinks just asking them to click
here to find out more about [the specific product]
      at Amazon.

      Dedicated to mutual success,
