Help needed intergrating S2members with JVZoo and a WSO - URGENT!

I've never used S2member before. All I can say is I use DAP (Digital Access Pass) for all my WSO membership sites and have never had a problem. It works really well.

I know that doesn't really help your current situation but just thought I would throw it out there for what it's worth.

HI Emma, Happy to find out you found a solution but could you please provide more details as I am in exactly the same boat. Everything ready to roll but cant get the "buy" buttons to work with S2 member - very frustrating

I had to ditch s2Member it just did not have the functionality I needed

Like I said I ended up using a theme that was in a WSO - PM and I will let you know which one.

Its mega easy, no headaches.

Anyone ever get s2 and JV Zoo figured out? I see the option has been added to JV Zoo when setting up a product, but little vague with their instructions.

On our side everything is on the site and technically there are no downloads. Although they did make us create a pdf so there was something downloadable.

The custom field to the best of my knowledge would be where you want to put your post or url.

The s2member user level is the relevant level for each user level attached to the membership you are selling. The field in the top right corner when you create a new page or post.

I guess if the digital file you are talking about is for people who come through jvzoo only and not regular members then you just need to use one level higher than usual. So if you current standard membership level is 1 then set the one on jvzoo as 2. If it is not specific to only jvzoo sign ups then leave it as your standard level.

I am pretty sure that sure that you MUST set at least the member user level from the outset. If you do not then the member will not be able to access any of your private member pages.

We have membership levels 1-2. Although we as of yet have no members at level 1. all our inner pages are set to level 2 and the forum is set to level 1. We were thinking to set a downgraded membership level (1) when people deceided they had matured enough to only want occasional questions via forum but so far everyone still prefers to be able to speak to us directly so there has been no need.

This is all very interesting. I started to do my set up with s2 and quickly found out it probably isn't the best option for a WSO. Hopefully someone with realize an opportunity and create a WSO for integrating s2 and WSO's

I gave up. Folks at JV Zoo are of little help. Was told by one person @ JV Zoo everything was setup right, but "technical support" came back and said they had no control over the flow of a third party system? LOL

braincandy was very helpful here, but just did not have the time to figure out. Moved on

Are you 100% sure m8? i can try and set it up for you if you want but that would mean i would have to be able to access both s2member and jvzoo. If you want me to try i will have a go. No charge or anything. I just like a challenge

I'm setting up a membership site using S2Member and BuddyPress at IM Showcase, and I'd give my left arm to be able to use JVZoo as the payment gateway. I'm setting up membership levels 0 to 4 in S2Member.

I don't know whether you might still feel up to a challenge... lol... but I've been knocking from pillar to post trying to find a JVZ/S2Member integration. Unfortunately I'm not really the developer type (although I'm fairly accomplished in WordPress).

What say you?

I would need to have a look at your setup in JVZoo and also know more about your sites setup. Membership levels and sales LP and so on.
