Best plan to earn ~$40/day with high skill in copywriting/writing?

I have a slowly-growing business selling my own products online.
Until I'm earning a full-time income with it, I'd like to use my skills in writing/copywriting to earn some extra income and help other business owners/marketers.

I'm confident in writing high-converting squeeze pages (my personal pages get 50-65%) and decently-converting sales letters (3.2% for my personal products), and I can also write high-quality articles for blogs or articles.

What's the best plan to earn ~$40/day with my writing/copywriting skills?

Any recommended websites with personal reviews would be very helpful.

Thank you!

This website or your own would be the ideal places in my opinion.

I have picked up some long term clients from Odesk as well.

Your target mark per day is pretty low though, so you could probably hit it at any of the freelance sites, really.

I don't want to sound like an ass, but if you can get those kinds of conversion rates on a regular basis, why don't you just focus on driving traffic so that those sales can generate that full-time income...
If you are only aiming for $40 per day, then how are your sales letters that convert so well not producing that for you?

@articlesforim Considering the conversions I have, I need a lot more traffic than I do now to make consistent sales. Do you think I'd be better off spending time driving traffic than article writing?

I think the best plan would be to test the hell out of your existing product sales pages, landing pages and followup marketing. Your already getting good conversion rates on your landing pages and sales pages so now you need more, much more, quality traffic.

Invest in some low cost solo ads or make deals with other marketers in your niche to mail for you.

Increase the size of your list and market to them.

If you're wanting to make an extra $40 per day then it really comes down to conversion.

    1. $40 product with a 1% conversion.

To achieve that you need 3,000 people to see your sales page. At a 1% conversion you would sell 30 copies over the period of a month.

Times that by the price of your product (30 x $40) and you will have your $40 extra per day, or $1,200 per month.
