Publishers, do you actually go to ezinearticles.com to find content?

The general idea of ezinearticles.com is to host articles so that publishers can copy and re-publish them on their site, in their ezine etc.

Just wondering if anyone is actually using ezinearticles to find articles for syndication?

Not as much as I used to. Several years ago, one could spend a couple of hours on EZA and find enough content to run weekly posts on a blog for months.

Then several more years where EZA (and virtually every other directory) was pretty much unusable because it took so much time to wade through the SEO spam BS.

It's getting better, but there's still work for Chris & company to do.

Nowadays, I don't look so much for articles but for writers. When I find someone I think has potential, I look to see if they are actively syndicating their stuff and get on their list. If they don't, I add them to a collection of writers whose author pages I check for new articles I might want to use.

I'm looking for talented writers that can develop into ongoing contributors to my projects for mutual benefit.
