Expert Click - is it worthy?

I recently learned of expertclick.com - Directory Of Experts - News Media Resource: Press Release Distribution and Journalist News Sources, but the minimum to list yourself in their directory as an expert is $1000.

Has anyone listed themselves here - is it worth it? You do get to send submit some 50 press releases a year, but what I'm more interested in is - does it really lead to higher listings as one being an expert? Do you think the media really consults this directory?

I couldn't get a feel from the homepage without setting myself up as a journalist to preview even a listing page.

Any info out there on this?
