This very good question was lost in another thread. I wanted to bring it out so it could be noticed.

How much do you reckon you could make in 45 days, if you were starting again?

I'm thinking it would have to be from services on Fiverr or something, because a list wouldn't develop that fast?
1. How much could you make, if you were starting over?

2. How would you do it?

3. What would you offer?

4. How would you market it?

      From scratch with the knowledge that I have today? I could probably get to at least half of my income level in the first month. Wow, that is an indictment on how much I earn lol.

      Well, I wouldn't jump back into affiliate marketing again right away (not that I am too far along now). I would choose to focus primarily on my content services.

      Exact same packages that I offer now. If we are assuming my portfolio has magically disappeared with my business, it would take a few days to rewrite it.

      Starting from scratch? Freelancing sites and a WFH thread.

    Are we talking starting over as in having to learn everything all over again... if that is the case then I'd earn nothing lol. It took me about 4 years of just learning.

    However, if I was just starting over but kept all my current knowledge then...

    1. How much could you make, if you were starting over?
    Probably around $5,000 ish..

    2. How would you do it?
    Probably selling WSOs

    3. What would you offer?
    Products that are in demand.

    4. How would you market it?
    Warrior Forum WSO Section and a Website with JV deals involved

    45 days really doesn't give me enough time to capitalize on affiliate marketing since I am to assume I am starting over with completely nothing AND I need to make as much as possible. So, it's all about short-term cash. For me, it would have to be offline marketing.

    I would hit every major metropolitan/downtown area and go after restaurants for mobile websites. I would walk in and show them their current site versus a rough mobile mock up (Thanks DudaMobile ) and sell them on the concept.

    So going this route and to answer your questions:

    1) How much in 45 days? $8,000 - $10,000 in sales

    2) How would you do it? Go door to door, targetting restaurants (via Google) and their owners (via manta.com). I would be able to hit a lot of target businesses within a concentrated small radius just sticking to downtown areas.

    3)What would you offer? Mobile websites with Google Places upsell at $249 - $449 per total sale (with monthly residual)

    4) How would you market it? Face-to-face selling

    Again, starting completely from scratch, I don't see any other method making as much in the short term.

    I've seen many posts like this before, and to me, the very short time frames make the question impractical. "45 days" could produce some income, contacting offline local businesses or it might take longer, so nothing would be earned during those days.

    Most online projects, even if they did generate some revenue, might not be collectible and spendable for 30 to 60 additional days, due to payout minimums, like CLKBK or CPA etc.

    Also, is this more about building a business, or merely getting some quick cash, like Ebay or something similar? (in the 45 days)

    What a fascinating concept, Shay.

    Hmmm... Clean slate. Exciting. :-)

    1. How much could you make, if you were starting over?

    In 45 days? I'd have to think about it and plot out a strategy.

    I'm assuming you mean that we have the know-how we've developed over the years, but not the contacts, nor any of the infrastructure.

    I'd be aiming to make at least $10,000 in those 45 days -- or at least have $10,000 in receivables.

    2. How would you do it?

    I'd pick up the phone, and sell writing services.

    Preparation:

    - Write a script;

    - Decide on the industries to which I'd sell my services;

    - Choose one. Search for companies in the industry in the online Yellow Pages;

    - Get a spreadsheet with these columns: date, company, URL, contact, email, phone number, notes.

    - Start entering companies into the spreadsheet;

    - Start dialing... :-)

    I'd make as many calls as I could, at least six to 10 an hour.

    I'd expect that once I'd made 100 calls (by Day 2), I'd have at least five to ten hot prospects.

    Working up quotes and doing research would take a little time, another couple of hours or so.

    I'd expect to have FIVE good clients at the end of five days. That's leaving plenty of wiggle room. (After making around 200 or more calls.)

    3. What would you offer?

    I'd offer copywriting services for sure, but I wouldn't be too fussed about WHAT I'd write.

    I'd offer whatever I thought a prospect might need, from looking over a company's website, and finding any mentions of the company online.

    Before each phone call, I'd jot a few notes for myself, but I'd focus completely on the person I was speaking to.

    The first calls are just first contacts, for research purposes, so I wouldn't expect to close on a first call.

    4. How would you market it?

    45 days is too short a time to do any serious marketing, for me, anyway.

    I'd throw up a one-page site on weebly.com or yola.com, just to be able to hand out a URL.

    All my focus would be on SELLING.

    Once I was sure I was on track to make the $$$ in the time allotted, I'd market to the (tiny, but potentially powerful) client base I'd tapped into, by inviting the clients to join a mailing list.

    The next step in marketing would be to write an outline for a monthly newsletter to those (paying) clients.

    Next, I'd think about what I could offer the clients as ongoing services (with a monthly retainer.)

    Fascinating concept. It made me think... :-)

    Cheers

    Angela

    I didn't know anything about Internet marketing when I first started, but now that I know what I know, I feel like I could easily be making a decent living better than I would be at a 9 to 5 within 45 days. I now know what to do and what mistakes to avoid.

    I could make $21,000 profit and have a $3500 a week business and here is exactly how I would do it.

    Create an outline for a live coaching class high end $997 or more

    I would setup a squeeze page for a live webinar, I would conduct the webinar and also record the webinar so people don't actually have to attend the live webinar.

    I would send traffic using facebook, PPC, and banner ads. Only the most targeted traffic and my offer would be super niched down.

    I would also write a great 7 -10 day autoresponder to provide value and connect even more.

    Now I have to admit it does cost about $1,500 to get around 150 leads a week, but these are damn good quality leads, especially using the way I target my ads.

    It's not out of the ordinary to convert at 10% per week ranging from about 7-11 sales a week. Actually this is very realistic, if you worked for a real sales company and didn't convert at least 10 people out of 150 real leads you would be fired. I have worked a lot of 100% commission only sales jobs in my day.

    I would then record the live coaching class after the class is over I would sell the recordings for $497

    I would continue spend $1500 a week in advertising and would still convert about 10 people a week at $500

    $5,000-$1,500 = $3500 profit a week. and you could literally be making sales your first week.

    I should also mention, I am an expert at direct response copywriting, writing ads, writing very persuasive email copy which are all skills that have taken years to learn.

    Also many people will not be willing to risk $1,500 a week in paid advertising. so this method is probably not very beginner friendly

      Yes this is a pretty solid method, which I am working on something like this now. Question is how the hell to you get traffic to the squeeze? Cant get it through PPC...well not directly anyways...
