Setting Up Multiple email addresses with Gmail

I thought it would be a great tip for internet marketers who manage two or more sites and have a hard time accessing their mail. Of course you could configure a third party client like Microsoft Outlook but apart from that, the only alternative was accessing via webmail.
What if you could bring your mail into your good old fashioned gmail?
Step 1) Set up email forwarding from your web hosting account so that for any email address such as mail at yourdomain.com, all the mail gets forwarded to your gmail address, xyz at gmail.com.
Step 2) Log into your gmail account and go to "Settings". It is usually attributed by the spindly wheel icon in the top right hand corner of your screen.
Step 3) In your settings panel, go to Accounts and you should see a label, "Send email as". Click "Add another email address you own".
Step 4) In the pop-up window, you will be prompted to enter the name you prefer to use in association with this email address and the address itself. Gmail will send a verification mail to confirm the account is actually yours. If you have set up forwarding in Step 1, the mail will arrive in your gmail. To confirm you can either click on the link in the mail or copy/ paste a verification code in the pop up window.
And you are done.
Due to email forwarding, you will be getting the mail directly to your gmail account and when you are replying or composing another mail, you can simply select the email address you want to use!
