If you have never heard of SQUIDOO your missing out

SQUIDOO is a GREAT way to promote your website. The site allows you to create your own "lenses", which are essentially single page websites, on whatever topic you want.

I have found that it is helpful to create pages that are very similar to the content of your main site, and then include a backlink to your site on that page. Its a great way to not only get a high quality backlink, but to also attract potential viewers simply from those that find your Squidoo lens.

If you are yet to check out this site, you should definitely take a look.

    Indeed, a Squidoo lens should be a part of your main web site's link wheel, which should also include a blog, Hubpages, Weebly, etc. This is considered a great way to give your main site authority and help it rank in the search engines.

      Right, I realize that, I didn't mean high quality in terms of greatly increasing your PageRank, but in the sense that it is from a reputable site that gets a ton of traffic every day

    Some of my lenses are PR3. They are an excellent traffic generating method. I also saw at Statcounter that my website visitors started to remain more at my websites when I created many Squidoo lenses.


    Squidoo lenses are effective, and they were not affected by Google’s algorithm changes.

    Some squidoo pages still rank very well in google too. I've seen many still in within the top 5 of google.

    how were you able to get PR3 lenses? did it take a take a ton of SEO work?
