How to Import Images from one WordPress site to another
Hey kidlets,
I have just moved a website of mine to a new domain and I am 301ing the old URLs to the new ones. When setting up the new site I imported the old site's WP EXPORT and I selected to include images and attachments.
WP imported it so that it looks correct, but when I check the actual URL of the images in my posts, the URL is still from the old domain.
How can I make WP download the images from my old site, and upload them to the new one, into the same /folder/locations/on/The/New/site ???
Unfortunately wordpress likes to upload images into /2012/01/14/ directories instead of just putting them in a /images/ folder like a smart CMS would do.
