Any Ideas On How To Monetize My Website?

Hi warriors, I'm not trying to promote my website but I would like some suggestions on how to get the most out of my website (in terms of income of course). The website is posturecorrection dot org. It has been on the top spot #1 for two weeks already for my main keyword with 8000 searches per month based on Google Keyword Tool.

But I haven't make any sale at all. I'm promoting a Clickbank product for this website and I'm only making money for the Adsense ads.

Really appreciate if you can point out for me on how to sell the Clickbank product which I'm currently promoting at this website. Things like where should I put my link, where should I put my banner, etc.

Thanks.

    Hi Izrul,

I'd recommend you offer something free on your site
that requires an optin so you can create and build a list
from the traffic your site gets and set it up with up to
7 follow up emails as statistics tell us it can take up
to 7 times of seeing a offer before being convinced/tempted
    to buy it.

Offer a fr'ee email course on say 7 things you neeed to know about
    posture correction etc

You could create this course from finding 7 articles online???

    Hope this helps you

If you have good ranking position i think it would be better and faster to get more income for you. Especially selling your own products and build the list.

  • Just went to your site, you really need a clearer call to action. Since I do IM I know to click on the icon for the book, and THEN it takes me to the sales page. I would place a good CTA ( call to action) under the book. I am willing to bet that by just looking at that page, it looks like you are not selling anything to most "normal" ( non-IM )people.

Agreed with the recommendations above, both adding a call to action that makes it clear that you want the user to click through as well as adding an opt-in so that you can market the product to them via an email autoresponder sequence.

In addition, you may want to consider removing the adsense block, or at least moving it further down the page if you are looking to monetize mainly with clickbank. The way it looks now, I wouldn't be surprised if the adsense block could be cannibalizing some clicks on the banner ad even without a call to action. The Adsense block is in the position where you could put a sidebar opt-in as mentioned above if you do focus on creating a list and autoresponder sequence.

I totally agree with the others. You need to have an op-tin form on your site to capture leads and then use email marketing to promote your products.

When the visitors land on your page, they are "strangers" and they are skeptical because they don't know you. When you give them a free report in exchange for their name and email, they will trust you more because they perceive you as a giver and not a taker.

After that, you can send them useful information, build relationship with them and turn them into "prospects". Once they trust you, it is much easier to sell to them and you can turn them into "customers". Eventually some will become "long term customers" and you can sell to them over and over again.

Think big, think long term and build a list!

  • ... also your "offer" is not above the fold. Move it up, make it more prominent.

I have visited your site, and when I looked at it, you really cannot see the book you have for sale. Yes Adsense is prominent, that is why your adsense is good.

If this were a site I was managing or even mine, I would change around the layout.

First I would have a column on the left, not on the right, and the first thing I would have is the book and a STRONG call to action under the book. You talk about you want book sales, having it on the left and then way down on the page is not going to cut it.

I would look at your bounce rate now on the site, and note it down, and also your clickbank clicks, then maybe try the new layout and wait a month and check the bounce rate and the clickbank clicks, to see if it has made a difference. You need to test.

    Goodluck!

How much traffic have you been getting to your blog? If it's anything less than 100 visitors per day, you may find yourself struggling to convert sales indeed!

Two years ago my EnglishHarmony blog's traffic was hovering around that mark and I was struggling big time to figure out what's going on. I was even on the verge of abandoning my project altogether.

Then I just started creating content, publishing blog posts and videos and that's when the sales started increasing.

Yes, everything the other warriors say about calls for action etc is very relevant; however, without loads of traffic it's not going to work, I'm afraid...

I visited the site, and if I wasnt looking for it I would have never really noticed the book you were promoting. So you can bet that others visiting your site arent noticing it either.

Hi guys, thank you for all of your response. I will definitely change it based on your recommendations. The problem I'm having right now is that I'm using Woo Themes. With this theme, I can't do much especially when I want to put a Call To Action button or link to my clickbank product. But if the visitors go to articles or content of my website, then only they can see where I put CLICK HERE TO Bla bla inside the content.
