Need Help : Changing Wordpress Domain on Cpanel w/o Redirect

I have 2 WordPress sites on a single Cpanel account, that I would like to change the domains, and I am having a hard time. So instead of one being sample.com, I want it to be test.com I tried just moving the entire content folder of sample.com to test.com and that did not work. The site shows up at test.com, but the images, and links are not working. Also my login did not seem to work.

My Question:
What is the proper way to change just the DOMAIN of a Wordpress in Cpanel, ( on the same hosting account) without redirects. I want that same folder and database, to be called by a different domain.

I want it to work where sample.com/about, will be replaced with test.com/about.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's not quite as simple as just transferring files from one domain to another. You need to edit a few things for it to work.

You first need to create a new database in the new domain. Replace all instances of the old domain with the new domain name in the database file. Import the edited database to the new database. Make a few edits to the wp-config file and then everything should be fine.

If you want more detail than that, I suggest searching for cloning wordpress information or tools.
