I know some vendors on clickbank who are easily doing millions...Hint - Just check out the front 3 pages of clickbank...All of them are doing well over a million each year.

ClickBank sales figures are not disclosed: this information is available only to individual products' vendors.

But just in theory, if you could find that out reliably ... would you want to know this information so you can select those products to promote, or so that you can take care to avoid them, knowing that they'll be the most competitive and difficult, and that you'd immediately be up against large numbers of well-established pro-affiliates with 4-figure daily AdWords budgets and all the rest of it?

Just to be able to decide on what to do with them.
      Either to avoid or enter.

I would avoid the IM niche unless you know what you are doing. While it is one of the biggest it in general has very high competition throughout.

Also the refund rate is rediculously high, and more and more people are buying and refunding cause they now they can...as a matter of fact avoid Clickbank all together...

Clickbank is a great way to get ideas for a niche. Search around and see all the different kind of products being offered. They exist there for a reason. Someone saw the potential in a niche and decided to create a product around it. You can do the same too.

Someone was telling me last week that CB sales are way down? I don't know where they got that information or how they got that information? I like cb to see whats selling or what the demands are? I like cb engine for research too. The "latest million dollar niche" on cb? probably something evergreen with a tweak on it?

I think the sales are way down. I think buzz is going around that all the products are junk or just complete scams, due to a few popular ones turning out to actually be scams.

This isn't so. Refund rates vary enormously from affiliate to affiliate for the same products.

The refund rate is determined to a large extent by how the product is pre-sold by the affiliate.

Any product that has a significantly high refund rate across all its affiliates is removed from ClickBank's Marketplace fairly quickly, because they lose money (administrative and processing costs) on refunds, and they don't like that at all.

Let's face it, you're better off, these days, with a specific, authority source like "my cousin's friend's cousin's girlfriend's cousin".

Let's try to keep it real, here ... "just saying" ... we wouldn't anyone thinking the thread's full of ill-informed nonsense, would we?

This, assuming the affiliate didn't choose a complete crap product to begin with. As Alexa also mentioned, these products are quickly weeded out.

"Someone" was recommended to me by an "industry source", who I was introduced to through a "government insider". This info is from the top and definitely legit, assuming no one tries to verify it :p.

What a silly generalization to make. I would tell 'someone' to get their facts right before they go around blurting out non-sense.

If sales are down it's not because Clickbank sales are down, it's because the market is not buying as much as they might have been the same time last year. I can guarantee you there are a ton of niches on Clickbank that are now making more sales than they ever have before.

Maybe because a large portion of the products are MMO based and most people are selling over here at the Warrior Forum instead.

Millions have been made in the "2012" niche, but most marketers now prophecy it will be coming to an end.

What's wrong with looking at the stats ClickBank provides? Gravity, etc...I know it's not perfect, but it's decent estimation IMHO, and better than anything else you'll find.

Generally, I've found that most-if-not-all of the "top products" (typically IM or biz-opp of some kind) are over-hyped, short-lived junk. However, I have several more obscure niches monetized through ClickBank with quality info-products that still do very well. I haven't experienced a drop in sales of any kind in the past 6 months, only an increase!

Ah, someone. My favorite source of information. The guy/girl knows so much about so many things; but is so humble that they never reveal themselves. A class act lol.

Ever try stepping out of the MMO niche and confirming instead of just thinking?
