How do you use Google Trends to make money?

I've heard that you can use Google Trends to find topics to blog about. When I look around on GT I just tend to see a zillion names iof celebs or the whole Rhianna getting more than a hug ..geesh....so how do go about tapping into a niche market using Google Trends?? And is the searched term likely to be short lived??

    They are usually REALLY short lived, the search terms. However, you can throw up a blog on Word Press or Blogger, put up some content and a few affiliate links in an hour.

    Then, submit the blog to Digg and it'll be indexed by Google almost immediately.

    I read a book about this once. I never got into it, too much stress for me. Like, "I gotta hurry up and get that blog up before something else big happens in the news."

    One tip that this book offerred, and I know I've seen a thread about this on the forum in the past, is to look at TV listings for the coming week.

    For instance, find out what Oprah or Dr. Phil will be talking about this week and, if there's a way to monetize it, get your blog up now, before the show airs.

    Once the show has been on, there will be tons of searches regarding that niche, whatever it may be.
