Clickbank product setup question

I have a question about setting up a 'thank you page' for a CB product I am planning

If I am selling a piece of software, CB say that on the 'Thank You' page I have to set up a link where the user is sent to download the software. Example: www.mysite.com/mysoftware.exe (not a real link).

Now from my point of view... once a purchaser has paid for the software and been sent to the 'thank you' page to download the software from this link www.mysite.com/mysoftware.exe (not a real link), the purchaser can easily copy that link and send it to anyone. Which means that any other person could use the same link to download my software for 'free'

Am I right, or am I missing something in the whole setup process

    dlguard is good but the best way is to generate a license key for each user and have them register the software when it boots up the first time. i am doing this now and also storing the users ip addresses each time they boot up the app. this way you can see who is sharing license keys and also disable them remotely.
