Clickbank what do you think?

My current analytics say

194 hops
71 order form impressions
5 order for submits
1 sale which was like 13 days ago

4 of the submits have been in the past 2-3 days

Has anyone had any issues with clickbank blocking or missing sales?
Someone told me that super affiliates have multiple Accts because it is believed clickbank blocks sales for preventative measures. Has anyone heard this?

Should I be worried about 5 submits and only 1 sale? If so what do I say to clickbank?

Thanks

A lot of people do tend to go to the order form and then backout for whatever reason but 71 order form impressions from so few hops seems a LOT.

Maybe someones browser got stuck and they sat there refreshing it or something?

5 order form submits and only 1 sale doesn't seem out of the ordinary though.

Well the product i promote, when you click back or to exit it pops up with a cheaper offer, and i am told this popup creates another order form impression count?

5 order forms and 1 sale is completely normal in click bank, people do back out of the sale for whatever reason or just go to the order form to check out the final price with no intent to buy, I have seen stranger numbers.

You do not need to tell Clickbank anything. Simply work on attracting more and more visitors to your offer to get some consistent daily sales.

Perhaps mix your efforts with other affiliate services too, Clickbank is extremely over-saturated.

It is 5 order form submits, not impressions...order form impressions is at 71...actual submits are 5, so its not just someone going to the order for amd leaving...they are actually filling out info and clicking submit..

ya, maybe I am expecting too much. The vendor continues to tell me there is an average of 1 sale every 15 hops, and this just cannot be possible, so who knows...ill work on more traffic and possible a different product.

Haha, the vendor is full of crap.

The fact a vendor tells you something like that says to me he has NO idea what he is talking about. To go around telling affiliates stuff like that is just stupid and helps no one. Even if he was getting those sorts of stats there is no point telling affiliates that because they will expect the same results and it's not going to happen because it is dependent on the traffic and where it's coming from.

All he will end up with is a bunch of affiliates who think he is full of it... and by the sounds of it, he is.

I would move along and promote another product. This doesn't sound like the sort of guy I would want to promote.

Im in contact with another vendor who seems much informed and real, and doing some planning on a new product they are launching, so I am about 95% sure I will be switching over pretty soon.

I've had 1000 hops and 0 sales. I used to do quite well with this particular vendor.

I get the feeling I'm being screwed somewhere since the vendor made a mailing list, but I can't find out how.

Forget about those metrics, they're never accurate.

Instead use goals and Google analytics to track and measure your sites performance. Its much more reliable.

I do not use clickbank to track my sites performance, I use getclicky, however I should be able to use it to accurately track my affiliate link performance. I have heard people say this...so are we to assume clickbank is not accurate, sales are missed, just live and deal with it?? if so I think I will take my promotions elsewhere, I do not feel comfortable promoting products for an authority site that is inaccurate and potentially misses sales..seems ridiculous.

There's obviously something wrong with your presell. I rarely ever get that many order submits or order form impressions with only one sale.

Also you might be working in a niche where people are broke and their credit cards get declined. If that's the case...good luck sir.
